This Ian stuff is really upsetting to watch I think cos he's such a well known character, it's really hard to see him hit rock bottom like this. I'm glad they're doing this storyline though cos it happens to so many people

Oh my gosh that was so sad. Knew EE would do a good job with this storyline because they are usually good at stuff like this. You are right Laura, seeing it happen to such a well established character really makes it powerful.

I do hope Chryed can be involved quite soon in all this - I want to see their reactions, I know Ian and Christian didn't always get on but he'd still be upset and so would Jane.

You're right Laura, Ian is such a fixed part of EE, and it feels like someone you 'know'... so it's indeed hard to see them like this.
Adam did good. Didn't speak a word, but it was really powerfull stuff.

Me too and yes i'm agreeing with Laura, it makes its worse when it's a character like Ian.

Yes, especially with someone like Ian, a proud businessman, to see him get so low.... He's had down times before but never anything like this. it just really hits home that this can happen to anyone. One day you have it all and then the next, it could all be gone.

I think we get a Christian/Ian scene on Tuesday and that's why he goes to confront Lucy? I know they've often had their differences but I think they do care about each other deep down....one of my fave scenes was when Christian was in hospital after Qadim's attack and Ian was being all supportive but in his own typical Ian way!

It's seeing him in tramp mode, but also those watery blue eyes...then I saw a tear and then I teared up

I really don't like Ian however I think Adam is going to be really great with this story. And even though I don't like the character it's sad to see his life get to this point

I really hope EE do this storyline justice. So often EE are awful at the aftermath to stories (suicide attempt aftermath was handled appallingly) and stories like this need a lot of care put into them.
