So, did everyone know about Mark Foster and Colin Jackson?
Apparentlythey been together for quite a while.
I had no idea. Of course heard rumours about Colin for quite some time, and not surprised about him... Doing some googling Colin is rumoured to have been with Michael Johnson? the US runner? Of course not everthing on internet is true, but... |

Well if it is true, good for them, they make a lovely couple and hope they are happy in their own privacy.
If it's false, then there are worst things to be labelled as than a homosexual. |

There are all kinds of rumours. Either way, they are two very successful, professional individuals who keep their private lives to themselves and focus on their work when in the public eye, which is as it should be, IMO.

i read the so called rumours when Mark did strictly...if they are together then good for them for keeping it out of the media. I really like Colin, his enthusiasm for his sport is still there. He seems like a really nice decent chap. Same goes for Mark, although I didnt know much about him before Strictly, I've enjoyed his addition to the olympic coverage,
If they are not together then they would make a nice couple. I also like MIchael Johnson, all 3 keep their private lives out of the media and I hope the mags leave them alone. Wow, 3 on the trot I have positive things to say about, *tottles off to the Chantelle thread to undo my good words*

I've known for a long time but they do an exceptional job of keeping their relationship out of the public eye. Mark Foster was talking about various training, swimmers go through as Liam Tancock had mentioned he had started ballet training to assist him with his swimming and Mark mentioned that he at one point "trained with Colin Jackson" without missing a beat or giving anything away.
I can remember, years ago when I first heard about it I did a bit of digging and I was agog at the amount of homophobia in sports. We all joke about Hollywood actors who choose to stay in the closet *cough* John Travolta * cough* but I kind of understand a lot of these athletes choosing not to publicise their sexuality (there's a massive difference between bearding your sexuality and not flaunting it). Give it ten years and I have no doubt it'll be completely different, but yeah, some of the homophobic stuff I read was absolutely disgraceful. But on the whole, good work Colin - talk about punching above your weight. Mark Foster is a complete babe

Colin did say it's the biggest hurdle of his life.
And Mark did say he now prefers the freestyle to the doggy paddle position more than ever. I overheard MJ pass on his lawyer's phone number to the OP too. |

Heard rumours when he was on Strictly. Who cares really. Hope they are happy together. Life is short and then you die. If you are lucky enough to find a partner to love, go for it!!! Could care less about his sex life, quite honestly.

Two good looking, intelligent, articulate people who have both excelled in their chosen field and then gone on to a media career within that sport. Neither are headline grabbers for the wrong reasons and are both on the screen for the right reason, actually being good at what they do. Good looking, classy couple with pride and dignity - not many of them about in celebworld these days |
