Can someone explain the family tree to me please? Thanks.

Michelle had two brother Paul and Liam (both died in car related incidents). Liam was married to Maria and is the father of her son Little Liam - making him Michelle's nephew. Her other brother Paul was married to Carla making her Michelle's sister-in-law and Ryan's aunt through marriage. This new guy Rob is Carla's brother and therefore no relation to Michelle or Ryan despite the closeness between them.

Well most of them are dead now.

Michelle, Liam and Paul were all siblings.

Their parents are Helen and Barry Connor who have made a number of guest appearances in the past.

Ryan is Michelle's son.

Paul was married to Carla.

Liam was married to Maria.

Maria's son Liam is Liam's son.

Liam had an affair with Carla.

Michelle found out that her son Ryan had been swapped at birth. Her real son Alex was in the show for a bit and was a bit of a nutter IIRC he has not been mentioned for years now.
