Maybe it's the acceptance of working in TV though!

er, is the prize a contract as a TV chef then? Have I missed something?

Look, if he wants to be a TV chef then that would explain part of the reason why he wanted to be on Big Brother. The next step is to come across as the sort of personality that could work on TV. Winning it is not the aim. The aim is to get on the show and come across well and I think that's the aim of most people who go on the show.

Yes, the only way Luke A can gain acceptance is if he gets a mega £££ deal to do a TV show.

Reminded me of Harry going on about Aaron's gameplan last year. (However, Aaron still won) .) Didn't Aaron have another friend who nearly screwed his chances too?

I'd be happy for Luke to realise his dreams. Decent, honest, genuine bloke. I can't imagine how hard his life must have been and still is in some respects. He deserves only good in my opinion.

because you don't need to win to be a TV chef... in fact, if you're going to have the earnings of a TV chef, there is even less reason for you to need to win BB.

If he needed the money to for an operation, that would have been a different thing altogether...

Acceptance for a TV show, BB's best kept secret.

Why hasn't he been open and honest about this?

Absolutely agree.

How has this killed his chances?

It doesn't seem he's been honest since the minute his audition VT started rolling ...

I just started a similar worded thread saying this. Stitched up good and proper. Even Ashleigh isn't deluded about TV stardom. It does explain a lot though. Now I can see him how the housemates do and why they don't like him. Desperation is oozing from his pores.

Well, yes, except that we already have too many TV chefs as it is. Then again, if he can bump off Jamie Oliver, he can have his job and I would be really quite okay about that
