"Here's your choice guys, we've taken half of the prize money so the winner of the show will now get £50,000. Do you want to win the show right now, or get a free pass to the final where neither of you will win because you are both hated?"

Only if you're someone who'd take the money and run and don;t mind everyone knowing you're that kind of person.

I am going out on a limb here.
I think if both decide to share the money, if either goes, I do think they will keep to their word. I just hope they both decide to stay in the house. If that is an option. |

But why would they? What's in it for them? What would be the point?

I think it would be ridiculous not to take it. They are engaged in an entertainment show with a prize and given a way of sharing that prize without having to win. It would be common sense to agree to that IMO.

Conor I think believes he's the winner. I really do think he thinks he has it in the bag. So more time in the house, make himself not look like he's just there for money and I would imagine him happily letting Luke S take the dosh. Plus if they're going to share as they said they would, then a third of the dosh is his anyway. |

When Eugene got a share of the prize money and was therefore out the final, all the HM's agreed he made the right decision. I remembered being surprised as I thought some might moan, but they all seemed to accept he got a great deal and understood why he took it. The thing is, BB have made this rule. I can't stand Conor or Luke S, but the challenge has been chucked at them. They didn't demand BB gave them 50k, BB decided it. It's a task and part of their challenge. If they take it, they're just following BB's rules. Still think it's all total crap, but I'm not sure they will be seen as 'that kind of person' when BB set it up for them to go for it. |

I do, they both know that they are not favourites. I think that Conor will be the first to take it myself. He will take the money and get out to be with his girlfriend! As fast as possible! I have no doubt about it!

I would never trust Conor, maybe Luke S. But Conor would take the money and not share it!

Do you know what would be hilarious. Neither of these two are that clever. Wouldn't it be funny if they thought that BB was trying to have one over them and tricking them to get them out of the house and neither of them took the money for that reason!

Conor would eat a litter of puppies for that money.
It's just whether he can convince Luke S that he should get it. I reckon Big Bollock will give in to him. |

conor thinks he has a strong chance of winning the show as he's been saved 4 times so they might choose luke to take the money and share it and if conor wins the show share win win to them 25 or 50k each |

How about "Conor you have pressed the red button and will now leave and collect the 50K, However because you talked about nominations in the white room you are no longer entitled to the prize money. Please leave in 5, 4"

I thought their egos and self belief might get in the way of them taking the money. They should know they're unpopular, but even though it's a vote to save, an eviction vote isn't always about the best housemate winning. Luke S might think his fans were voting to save Ashleigh instead of him because they thought she'd be in more danger of leaving/more danger of stopping Caroline from leaving, and there is some truth in that. He'd be wrong to think that, but is he arrogant and stupid enough? Quite possibly.
They should really know that winning BB guarantees nothing, but you get housemates going in every year expecting to come out as celebrities. Luke S and Ashleigh seem to think viewers like a fauxmance, so they don't have the strongest view of reality. |

And taking the money is widely thought to be the reason why Eugene didn't win. |

The kind who would take the money and run. There's no more to what I said than that.

They might also remember they Eugene probably would have won if he hadn't taken the easy money. Quote:

I think Luke will definitely take it, he must be aware that he has no chance of winning, considering that he came 7th in a vote to save.
