Boring! Boring! Boring!
Is this the worst IACGMOOH ever?
The live feeds are a joke, the assemblage of 'celebrities' are just dull, contrived has-beens and the trials are just a massive non-event... Time to switch off? |

I think that was the last straw for me about 10 minutes ago when Nancy said' well we dont really need to worry, we've got our money'. That pretty much says it all about the whole lot of them, greedy attention-seeking publicity junkies.

Theres only one person in there that didnt have the whole deal stitched up for them by their agent. And thats because he dosnt have one. So i wonder what special deals they are all getting individually.

well that is the last straw (or rather leaf) for me I think. Too many cuts and no action. I am going to bed. Good night sweet repose, lie on your backs so you don't squash your nose.

To be honest,..on balance, I'd have to agree with you.
And it's not as though one person is more boring than another. They ALL appear quite dull across the board....From Joe and Vic the "funnymen", to Sheila and Huggy who waffle pearls of wisdom at everyone. It just isn't working as well as it should I feel. Miscasting. That's the problem here I think. It's like on every show they try to hype up the drama, making out it's been ups and downs, thrills and spills all the way. I'm watching it hearing Dec's commentary saying such stuff, thinking,.."What the f**k are they on about?" "No it hasn't been like that Dec...don't lie to us". And they keep showing quick edits of Sophie and Natalie in their little row. But they keep repeating it,..and repeating it,..and repeating it....every single show. One tiny argument does not 2 weeks of entertainment make.. Sorry...but it does not. I expect more highlights than them hyping up ONE incident for a whole week. It's a bit desperate if they have to rehash that same clip every single night to make out that they are reflecting a week full of drama. If they think one tiny little tiff constitutes 2 weeks of entertainment, then they've got another thing coming. Miscasting...that's the problem here. Fran is crap Sheila is crap Joe is crap Huggy is crap Basically almost all of them are crap to some extent or another. I'd say if anyone was entertaining, I'd have to say Janet, Paul and Natalie. (And I can't even stand Natalie or her bullshit desperateness) |

You can't even follow a f**king conversation on the live feeds due to the sound drops.
Most converstions are impossible to dechipher, and take too much effort working out the missing words and sentences. Makes it basically pointless to watch. |

Alrightmate are you another insomniac, like me, or working shifts or something?
Anyway, I wholeheartedly agree with you about this series. I already posted a thread earlier about the livefeed and how you can't even study anybody's character, if indeed they have any. The livefeed is what has really crippled this show. Why bloody bother to even have one? Your right also about Ant & Dec's show and the amount of repeats. It's just truly awful. I've just never seen such a bunch of dull characters all in the one RTV show. I would rather watch a repeat of BTR and watch Jade Nauseum than watch this heap of crap. I never thought I'd ever say that, but there you go, it's said. Also for the first time I don't have an out and out favourite and find myself changing my mind every minute. Nobody stands out in this show at all except Natalie for all the wrong reasons of course. I think we've inadvertently made a heroine out of a monster.

I got Emmerdale on too, which I don't bother to watch normally. Isn't Lorraine Chase looking wrinkly these days? Then again, a lot of time has passed since the adverts she did with the "water in Majorca, don't taste like it orta" line.

Evening to you all. I was in bed and couldn't sleep for thinking I'd miss some excellent livefeed of the crickets and trees.
So here I am with not a bit of aggro in me as I don't really give a toss who wins, who gets chucked to the crocs, or who drowns.

The whole thing is very sad this year. There are simply no interesting characters to keep you watching. Previously there has always been someone to make you tune in, but not this time.
In fact it has got to the point that I find myself wanting Natalie to keep getting to do the trial simply for the amusement of seeing Ant and Dec squirm ... This always seems to happen in the third or fourth series of these things. You get a sense of staleness, and lack of spontaneity, with an escalating desperation in the difficulty and tasteless extremity of the trials in order to generate the same level of thrill - it's like taking drugs and needing more and more to get the same buzz. All the contestants, instead of being themselves, repeat the easy cliches from previous series as a short-cut to what the perceive as success and attention - Natalie wants to be Kerry, Paul wants to be Fash, Sophie wants to be Jordan ... |

Sophie and Nancy seem to be the most overtly mercenary of them. |
