The most stupid staff team in BB History?

I have never known a year were BB has been so defiant and so against their viewers. It's almost as of they're trying to alienate their audience and purposely doing everything they can to piss them off. It's like a stroppy child with their arms folded, tapping their feet and thinking "Just you wait I'll show you!"

They repeatedly tell us on BBBOTS everyone is loving the tasks and twists on the Social Media sites when it's quite apparent across the board on Twitter, Facebook and forums we all hate them. They have tried to shove Conor down our throats when it's quite apparent we all hate him, it was only the other night on BBBOTS that Alice told Caroline to stay off the forums because "they hate us" then rolled her eyes as if to say whateeever!!

I think someone needs to tell these incompetent baffoons that WE are the ones they need to please, we are the ones they need to have on side, that intentionally going against the audience to prove a pointless point will lose them their audience and with no audience they will have no show!!!!

They certainly give the impression of despising their audience. I haven't a clue why that its. Maybe they secretly hate BB and wish they were making wildlife programmes for BBC2 or something?

Yes they certainly do, I just can't for the life of me understand why people running a TV Show that's only success comes from their audience are so intent on turning their audience against the Show.... Perhaps they are in fact as stupid as some of the people they are putting on the show.

It's not stupidity, it's stubbornness. The producers simply cannot accept that we don't want to support their favourites, so have created this twist as a way of rewarding them because we aren't willing to do it. It was exactly the same thing when they split the prize money last year because the public supported Aaron over Jay.

Sweaty box Ian read out a negative tweet a few weeks ago - the only response he could muster was a sarcastic "bye"

So sad..this isn't Big Brother anymore..it's like the BB mafia..and if you don't like it..we will delete you or kneecap you (Conor's mob on Facebook)!

Tonight's twist certainly does look like it. In the past there have been signs that they were listening: people begged them for longer, better tasks and we got longer, better tasks; we begged them to stop nominations discussions and they made a faint, uneven attempt to stop nominations discussions. But NO ONE liked this idea, which we have discussed on here for a week. No one.

The big principle of BB has always been the feeling that viewers can influence what happens. Obviously that does not always, or even usually, go the way we hope: our favourites are voted out early, people we loathe stay to the end, and there is generally heartbreak and disappointment. But we accept it, grumbling and shedding the odd tear, because it IS a gameshow, and that is the way it happens.

This one seems so cynical. There is not even the pretence that the white room is a task: there is nothing to pass or fail by being there. Three housemates were just chosen to go, then were reduced to two by a process that was 100% certain to bring about the result that it did.

So in effect the producers have simply chosen two housemates whom they knew had absolutely no chance of winning and decided to give them the prize money anyway. How were the public possibly supposed to see that as a good idea? Obviously it will please fans of Conor and Luke S, since they have been given a reward that they could not otherwise have got, but at the cost of utterly digusting everyone else, who are the big majority.

I have been thinking for a while that this might be my last BB. It has been too nasty, too poorly controlled; and this pointless, justice-free, fun-free, cynical twist just makes it all feel so flat and dreary.

"Who goes? No one you have any say over, so just deal with it."

If these producers were in charge of BB9, Dennis and Alex would have been sitting in that white room with a chance of winning the £50k.

It is a lousy twist because, whether they take immunity, the cash or go back into the house, they will not lose. Why not have them pick from three envelopes: immunity, goodbye money and immediate eviction. Make them really sweat.

I feel they have over several weeks led us to believe we by voting had an opportunity to register who we wanted to win
We took our chances by voting to get an opportunity to participate
When they make decisions that cut us out they should make it clear at the beginning of the series then we can decide to participate or just watch
This is why I am angry they duped me and I think many others will feel like me so should put up or shut up
If you feel ofcom should know how you feel if only for the fact that by telling them it will get into the press then you should contact them

It will obviously not change this series probably not change anything about C5 but I will feel better if I try to make my feeings heard

I said it before this twist that the only reason I am even continuing on with the show is because I want to see one of the outsiders win and the insiders get what they deserve, that I will not be tuning in next year or for CBB but this has just confirmed it for me. I am finished with BB, I have watched day one aswell, from when the very first HM's entered that first house way back when I was a teenager but I have really had enough now. They have sickened me right off it for good.

This decision is turkeys voting for Christmas. The producers have basically stuck two fingers up at the viewing public.I will not be watching CBB.They will pay for this decision with their jobs.
That's me finished with Big Brother for good.

Going back in the house is the only way they can lose.

Lose later on, which is the same with immunity. They should be presented with a real dilemma, something the prospect of immediate eviction would present them with.

It's never been a principle of BB that viewers can influence what happens in any way other than voting about who should be evicted,

And even if it were a principle that viewers can influence, the people posting in forums are just a small fraction of the viewers.

"Listen to the viewers" seems fine when you agree with what the viewers are saying, but it looks very different when you don't. That's one reason why it would make a lousy principle. In practice, it would always mean "listen to the viewers who make the most noise".

I don't want to sound agest but I haven't seen anyone over 12 who works on the show lol ok maybe a little older than 12, they are all mad, we have one posh girl in the task room trying to be as crazy as beccy, then the live producer trying to get a date, come on they are not the sharpest knife in the draw are they.

That's why the poster mentioned that one of the votes was "1v1". Then you vote to get one out by voting to save the other.

Even when more are up, people can still vote with the aim of getting someone out, and can even succeed, as we did when we got Anton out last year.

The producers have worked on the show for years, even when it was on Channel 4 (Denis O'Conor, Katy Smith etc.) so I don't get why people think its changed.

Only the channel has, the production is still the same.
