Suzy hands down. Glenda cared what people thought, despite what she might have said, Suzy never gave a shit lol

Glenda was better as she was played by a better actress.

Maggie O'Neill should be ashamed of her portrayal of Suzy.

Plus with Glenda there was a bit of comedy to her

Only ever seen Suzy in clips so can't comment but I would agree with the BIB. Glenda did care what people thought. She also would almost always try and correct her mistakes (without little success). One of the things I found interesting about her character, as well being a bit of comic relief at times, was that she was multi-layered and despite being a bitch, she also had a conscience unlike the likes of Shirley (who has very little conscience).

I wish they would bring Glenda back, not as a long-term character but one who does the occasional guest spots.

I would like them to bring Suzy back at some point too however they need to get rid of a few of the current Brannings before that happens.

No she didn't but in the end she regretted it. But yes she was quite ruthless in her pursuit of Phil. Again, this all added to her multi-layers as it was driven by lonliness. Connor realised how lonely she was after she flirted with him. It cut a nerve with her and she then went all out to find a man. Of course no excuse though.

Quite ridiculous that of all the men she had to go for, she chose 2 who were spoken for. I guess in the case of Ian, she had just heard Jane's tirade against him. But with Phil she had been after him for months even though she knew he was with Shirley. Very naughty.

Will check DMs on my phone when I go to bed.

Glenda fired a few rounds, but Suzy went nuclear in that scene. And to top it all of she didn't even give a f---

Suzy was not only given great lines but her acting was top notch as well, she really didnt care who she was talking to and maybe that was the case for the actress as well in real life.

Um. I liked Glenda, I thought she was a great character, and I'd love to see her come back, but when we're talking about her caring for people we really should point out that she knew her husband was raping their daughter, and her response to it wasn't to stop it, but to 'get her own back' by going out and get pregnant by another man, and leave the child being abused with the person doing the abuse for the rest of their childhood.
