Some people seem unable to see through Ms Anderton. She is so false. Everything she says is carefully thought out so that she doesn't come across as bitchy. Occasionally though she lets her mask slip and we see the real Sophie. Hopefully this will happen more and more and people will wake up to the devious little madam.

When she comes out I guarantee she will not have a good word to say about anyone, but whilst she is in there she will keep up the pretence of being little miss butter wouldn't melt and carry on playing the victim.

I really think Sophie is getting a hard time, i dont particularly like her but stepping back and looking at her task, ok she did go on about it a bit but come of it, she did brilliantly (while Nat couldnt even attempt trying the egg), she deserved to go on about it for the rest of the day.
Another thing when she was leader, she suggested they all tidy their stuff and everyone moaned and complained at her but when Vic suggests it, then its a good idea.

Nobody can deny how well she did in the trial. She wouldn't want to waste her 30 mins on camera failing

Thats not likely, we can all see through her, i just think the camp are being unfair on her, especially when she saw through Natalie, like we all did.

I don't think she saw through Natalie, she just didn't like Natalie because Natalie got all the trials and Sophie does not like anyone else having camera time

But the row they had, was only after Nat had done 1 trial. She saw how she was trying to manipulate the us and the camp with her being ill and crying all the time.

I don't think she should really comment on other people supposedly taking the public for fools as she is doing just that.

Whether she is or not, the point is she saw through Nat and was right, she is being given a hard time and i do feel sorry for her.

I agree with donsy90. I don’t particularly like Sophie, but at least she is tackling the experience / tasks with some kind of decorum, instead of becoming a dribbling screaming hypochondriac to camera. – and that’s just Paul Burrell .

At the moment Sophie is getting a real hard time, some of it is rightly deserved, but some of the berating and coldness has been uncalled IMO. And the bully boy tactics of some camp members leaves a lot to be desired.

Sophie's far from being the nicest person on the planet - but as the battle in the first week has been between Sophie and Natalie and her snide cronies then the support is generally with Sophie.

We can all see through Sophie - and what we see is someone less objectionable than Natalie and Sheila.

exactly, they all have a downer on her, why? because she has done better than the beloved nat

not as much as nat was, and as for sheila janet and huggy, they are after their youth and cant stand her because she represents what they are not and what they cant have

She is such a cow! Natalie may have whinged, but Sophie just has the most evil face in the world... really reminded me of a school bully getting ready to strike... genuinely think Natalie was the vunerable one, not Sophie. She aint a celebrity anyway, leave her to rot in the jungle.

I don't think there is anything to see through with Sophie she has been far more open in how she feels than Shelia or JSP who just make snide remarks.

Also she was entitled to talk about the task as she did very well, nobody told Natalie to shup up about failing or Nancy who keep banging on about the chest trial with paul and how badly she had done.

I am not a big fan of Sophie but out of a rubbish bunch she is much better than most.

So because Sophie hides her emotions, she's deemed cold. That's crazy and I can't understand why people have a problem with that. Maybe she grew up around men who discouraged emotional output?

I certainly prefer Sophie to the jealous bitchiness of Sheila and JSP. They are the transparent ones - they are so envious of Sophie's because she is young and beautiful.

How Sheila has the cheek to accuse someone else of trying to be the centre of attention is beyond me.

I'd find it incredibly difficult to be emotionally available to a group of people who sought to mock and belittle me at every opportunity. Perhaps Sophie feels the same way? Personally, I think she deserves enormous credit for maintaining her dignity and civility with some of the other ego monsters in camp.

Well put, pony. I couldn't agree more.
The image of Appleton bellowing at her, face contorted in rage (paraphrased for sense) "When you hug me, it'd better feel like you meant it, or else!" surrounded by her henchmen Sheila and Janet will live in my nightmares for some time to come.
There's far too much rudeness and lack of consideration tolerated under the banner of "emotional honesty", imho.

I am watching the live feed now on ITV2 and Sheila is having another moan about Sophie, She really is pathetic. I can't wait to see tonight's trial, Hopefully she'll do rubbish she'll probably start singing half way through as well.

I didn't like Sophie at first but after the row with Natalie I felt sorry for her and changed my mind. She is a bit guarded but at least she isn't acting like she is in some sort of rehab clinic where you have to bear all your emotions.

I really don't like Sheila at all, she is bossy and mean I think she made things worse with Natalie and Sophie.
