i have heard twice today, that she was going to try and go through the trial in her usual fashion, but one of the crew let slip that people had been voting for her because of their dislike for her, and when she found out she didnt want to go back and face the others, did she really think she was popular,..must stress both of these reports were on the radio, but the way they were talking on This Morning it points that way.

baileybots, something like that crossed my mind aswell earlier,

Sounds plausible enough. Though after her and her sister's career as "Appleton", surely unpopularity can't have come as a massive surprise!

So whats the story on this. Did she go to do the trial and found out she was being voted for by the GBP cos they didn't like her and then not return to camp at all.

So what's her next phobia - a fear of the public?

With any luck we might see the back of her for good.

She must have thought the public like her so much that they voted her to do every trial. But when she knew the truth she can't face the reality and humiliation and be the first one voted out.

My reading of her departure was that it was the last chance she had to go when she could convince herself that it wasn't her own fault. While she was still doing challenges, she could always blame her "phobias". From now on, when the fellow contestants vote for who does the challenge, she wouldn't have to do anything as they are SO hungry.

She now never has to face the fact the GBP wouldn't vote to keep her there cos we REALLY don't like her. So she's left before she has to face that publicly.

i think she found out that she wasnt as popular as she thought she was, with comments like,...i should have had a single out, such like, i can see it must have been a shock to find out the trails werent because she was popular they were hers because she was hated, and she would be the first one voted out, ..what better way to avoid the humiliation in front of the others, make some excuse of how you cant go on and leave

They probably slipped her a bit of cash to go - it's a good headline grabber for the show, she can be on TV all next week now generating publicity for it. No point having your biggest marketable asset sat in the jungle all day doing nowt is there.

I wouldn't be surprised if she was encouraged to go.Kay Adams almost seemed to say that.

Would she have needed much encouragement? All they had to do was let her speak to her agents for a few minutes I'm sure Natalie agrees that there no such thing as bad publicity.

good luck to natalie!!
I agree she didnt exactly do herself any credit by the way she acted in the jungle but i do think she was edited worse than she actually was! I hope she does alright out of IACGMOH!

Not according to TPT, who was hinting last night that the true horror of Natalie's trials is a lot worse than we've actually seen Ant and Dec have to work so hard with her!

It's got to be true Natalie has generated more cash for charity by her pathetic antics than would otherwise have been raised?

It would have been a bit difficult to edit her on the live task.

If anything, I think the editing was overly flattering and sympathetic.

Evidence? She was seen to behave most irritatingly, childishly and self-indulgently during the "Leap of Faith" trial. Tellingly, that was the trial that was broadcast live and unedited.

The woman is a complete nightmare and doesn't deserve an iota of sympathy.

I am sure that last night I heard janet (or someone else) saying that nat had crossed the bridge fine. Was this before or after she quit as it came over as she went to the trial at first.

So far we've had one sister Nicole being anything but complementary on Frank Skinner and now we hear that Lee the other sister agrees with the daily mail that she's very irritating.Says it all really.

wasn't the fact that the public kept voting for her a big clue that the public didn't like her?

Well its hardly showing sisterly love to tell the whole nation how much Natalie annoys her by using tissues so she doesn't have to touch anything in anyones loo including the door handle and then pointing out she never ever cleans them up .I certainly didn't get the feeling that she was rooting for her sister ....more that Natalies decision to go on had annoyed the entire family.

Just my impressions.
