what happens if ....

Can anyone tell me what happens if the votes are tied? As I understand it, this week the couple with the highest votes from the public were awarded 5 points in the same way as the judges voting worked, and so on. What happens if the couple with the highest votes from the judges get the lowest votes from the public, and vice versa ending in a tie - which of the votes judges/public take priority? Unlikely I know, but could be a possibility!

If it does work like that, then it was obvious on Saturday that out of the final 2 that Roger was the one to go, 'cos he was bottom the judges voting with 1 point, and Denise was second with 4 points. Even if Denise was bottom of the public voting with only 1 point, Roger was unable to catch up, making the pregnant (at least 20 second) pause and dum-de-dum music totally unnecessary

Thanks

Last season, the public vote counted higher than the judge's vote.

If Natasha had got 2 points from the judges and Chris 1, and the public had given Chris 2 and Natasha 1, then Chris would have won !

I was appalled when I realised he could win for being a tw*t on stage
