It would be like me starting endless threads about Kenneth Tong, and bringing him in to every argument, saying the same things over and over again. Who would? And why? There's something here I just can't quite get my head round. It's not even like the days when Jade Goody seemed to be on the cover of every magazine: you actively have to seek out stuff about Luke, as with every recent housemate. Let's see how many dislikers carefully record his Alan Titchmarsh show appearance just so they can say "Oh my god! How terrible was Luke on the Alan Titchmarsh show? Doesn't he realize his 15 minutes are over?"”

When is Luke's Alan Titchmarsh show being shown?

Six months ago today.... though I didn't find out until either two or three days later who had won, which was TORTURE! But as I hadn't expected it, it was the best homecoming from a holiday ever.

Thank you - he filmed it ages ago! Just goes to show how "uncurrent" a lot of the items are.

It was a fantastic night WD and it was such a shame you weren't here to share the excitement and joy when Luke emerged as the winner. Stick that in your pipe Larry LOL

Here is the magic page. http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showt...710324&page=39

So sweet of people (on the previous page) to ask if anyone could ring me up. What nice people you all are.

Ah, nostalgia! I loved the way people were just popping in to share the moment with us and say congratulations. Kind of puts paid to that lie that it was only us regulars who cared.

I miss Zeebra.

Yes, lots of Deana and Adam fans being nice about it. And I got a message from one of Caroline's fans saying congratulations and well done, which I thought was sweet.

That was lovely to read. Lots of compliments too about how nice the Luke supporters were on the main forum, not stooping to the level of some of the other posters

Well I know that I would say that, but I have to agree. I have belonged to two appreciation threads in my time, and always thought both of them were mature and pleasant places, full of positive and thoughtful threads.

I see that Mr Obsessive has now started a thread about how Conor deserved the money more than Luke. Because pressing the white button was SO HARD compared with winning the hearts and minds of the people. Bless him.

Wow. 6 months already, it has gone so fast! I' m getting very nostalgic reading back on old posts , it was an exciting night made even better by you guys and wonkeydonkey was missed, it must have been torture not knowing the result! It was very nice to see so many supporters of other housemates congratulating him. It must have been particularly disappointing for Deana fans as I'm sure many would have been convicted that She was going win due to the poll results, so it's nice that they were so gracious.

Very wise. At least you don't have to find room for those forced rose buds that never open or have any scent, or for a misguided teddy you will have to wait a decent interval before taking to a charity shop. My husband is 300 miles away with his dad, but he never remembers these things anyway - we are talking here about someone who put his own date of birth wrong on facebook.

For the benefit of anyone (understandably) not using the main forum, here is Trumbles magnificent answer to the fatuous thread about whether Luke or Conor deserved the £50,000 more:

Quote:
“This is like having a cuteness poll pitting pubic lice against kittens.

The White Room picked an HM who should have been thrown out and who had no chance of winning via a particularly arbitrary selection process. He was then given £50k out of the prize fund for the laudable achievement of backstabbing a supposed friend of his.

The only impressive thing about the whole process is it made the bizarre splitting of the prize fund in BB12 look like it made sense.

They'll have to come up with something truly weird in BB14 if they want to top it. Perhaps the series winner will end up being forced to pay walkers and ejectees out of their own pocket because BB judges that they insufficiently stylish nasal hair.

...and Luke A just won. People liked him.”

I'm just going to enjoy the moment - I know it can't last - when Luke is in the lead.

Josie is in the lead now, she really does polarize opinion!

Such a long twitcam that my ears HURT from the headphones. Admittedly a lot of it involved people swapping children's tv theme songs, including Luke inventing a Captain Pugwash song because the real tune had no words...It made for an oddly endearing Valentines night for those of us not dining at The Fat Duck...

Looked up my very first BB13 post, just after the doors closed on opening night, when someone put up a 'first impressions' poll. Pleased to see that I voted for Luke, and commented that Luke, Adam and Lauren were my favourites. I must have powers of divination.

Here is the first night poll btw, with Luke second to Lauren: http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/8895/pollp.jpg

I see that Conor and Luke Scrase made an immediate good impression...
