That's well out of order I think I can guess who you're referring to, he seems like a massive wind up merchant .

Well, he won't be doing much winding now as he is on a little holiday

Oh I am sorry, I am pleased, delighted, grateful, ecstatic, overwhelmed, thankful, appreciative and will be greatly indebted to your good self for a very long time. Is that better

Meet up at the Oyster's for teatime then.

Lovely to see him getting published. Of course the only thing missing is special Val-proof instructions. Mostly consisting of what are the best profanities to yell at it when it doesn't behave.

I love the 'appears set when gently jiggled' bit - so typically Luke, if you see what I mean.

Ah yes. Really the last instruction, to make it suit me, would be 'scrape into bin and go to Waitrose'.

Aww, I'm sure it will be fine if you try it - if not you will have to get Luke to explain where you went wrong, I'm sure he'd help.

I actually attempted it and it was edible so there's hope for you all. Prior to reading this I didn't realise that you could make sponge cake in the microwave, I'm so ignorant .

Neither did I. I don't really do anything except vegetables in mine. Mainly peas because they don't require anything effortful like cutting up. You can tell that I am a really wonderful cook.

Well, you never know. Start with having a go of the recipe and see if it works. If it doesn't we can home in on Luke in a pincer movement and interrogate him (they don't call us his Army for nothing ) until he agrees to show you in person how to make his sponge recipe. Deal?

Lol.

Sounds as if the Parkinsons ball was a big success last night and good that his BB oscars trophy brought in such a good sum. (Would be an odd thing to have on show at home though imo; "What is that?" "Oh, it's something last year's Big Brother winner got for nominating the same person several times." "" )

It does sound as if it was a big success and it's great that it raised so much money for a worthy cause. There are a number of charities that have benefited from Luke's generosity and particularly brave of him to go and put on a smile under the circumstances.

I agree with you about the trophy though, same really with a lot of the merchandise on the website, it has a very limited appeal and would take an awful lot of explaining in the circles I move in.

Lol. You go right ahead.

I'm so glad he felt able to do it even in the middle of a bereavement though. He was obviously a big part of the party.

It was really nice of him to do that for them and it's great that such money was raised it a worthwhile cause.

Only if we find them boring.

Most HMs who are disliked are disliked for worse than that and so are labelled bullies or bitches or whatever, rather than boring.

Yes fair enough, if they are really unpleasant (in our eyes) they will be labelled worse than boring.

Lol. Well it's nice to see a fresh face on here. I am afraid I have a samsung, and to upload photographs from that I have to download a bit of samsung software. Aren't you glad you asked someone who is no help at all?

Ha ha at Luke's short twitcam: "Becky used to sing all the time in the house, very loudly, then they told her that they couldn't broadcast any footage of her singing so she stopped doing it.".
Cowie

That singing rule is ridiculous.
