Every time Ch 5 broadcasts someone singing they have to pay royalties, so they try not to do it. In fact I have often thought that if you wanted to ensure a nice private shower you should sing the whole time. I remember in BB7 they housemates were actually given a 'don't sing' task, and immediately they turned into the trapp family singers and literally couldn't stop themselves bursting into song.

Luke looked beyond knackered in last night's twitcam, but did discuss a few big brother questions, which sometimes he doesn't want to. Eg I asked if he had liked Conor at the beginning, and he said Conor used to take him through exercise routines, and that Conor said he liked him and that he stood up for him to Caroline. Which we certainly never saw (and he certainly didn't in the blue team taskroom bedroom), but who knows, it may have been true at times.

He made a little joke about going to Butlins because he had a friend who was working as a redcoat, and I thought it would be quite funny to creep up behind her and very quietly start singing her chicken nug nugs song.

Hmm, good question because I never watch it. Sometimes programmes like this do a "coming up next week" bit on a Friday. Otherwise it'd be at the end of the Monday show. Presumably they'll let Luke know if it isn't the 19th as planned.

With wonderful timing, we're having some work done in the house that afternoon so I'll have to record the show.

No of course I don't think that's why you posted. I keep hovering around those arguments looking for something constructive to say but I don't have the sort of in-depth knowledge that you have at your fingertips to refute them and, to be honest, reading that stuff depresses me. I can just about forgive the people who say Deana or Adam or Lauren brought more to the series (although I don't agree) but to see people turning on Luke like that and repeating the same, baseless, nasty-for-the-sake-of-it stuff just upsets me especially when he has been going through a tough time anyway and I genuinely believe he is one of the nicest ever BB contestants, probably too nice for the show in truth.
