Short but very sweet on Alan Titchmarsh. Luke comes across very well on TV.

Did you see the whole show? I only saw Luke's bit on youtube. Was there a micropig?

Luke came over very well imo - he looked really relaxed and dealt with the (not very many) questions well.

That was a great interview, Luke came across really well - he was very articulate and confident . Here's the interview for anyone who hasn't seen it yet

Nice comment from BB psych Pam Spurr:

Quote:
“@LukeA_BB Checked @TitchmarshShow You were so warm, wise& helpful to those making a trans journey! AT should have you on for other topics X”

There was a nice comment from Lauren as well, which I have managed to lose; but it's nice that she liked it.

Seems a long time since Densino started this thread, having not even noticed that there were two Lukes in the house. And since I posted here, on the opening night of BB that I 'really liked' Luke, but that he was bound to walk out in week 4. A lot of ups and downs since then. But hugs to those left on here, even if only occasionally dropping in. xx

That's nice I think Deana also made a nice comment too, it's good to see that the outsiders are all still good friends .

We certainly are it's been in existence since he first appeared on BB . I remember you WD saying in the first week that you never usually identified a favourite so early and you were nervous in case he suddenly had a massive personality transplant or you'd cursed him. Thankfully that never happened

That is true. I like to take my time at these things because once I start supporting someone I feel compelled to support them forever. Luke was the only housemate I have ever declared for on day one, and for some reason I just knew that he would not turn out to be a horrible person. He just sounded likeable and relatable, which BB housemates often don't on day one, when they are often hyped up to the nth degree, trying far too hard, and shackled to an awful VT. Some series I have never identified a favourite at all, which is fine in a way, but makes things a little dull. BB13 was extra intense because the gap between the people I liked best and the people I liked least seemed huge. And it is only the second time (and the best one) that my favourite housemate has won.

I've picked a few winners in the time I've watched but have never felt as compelled to stick around and support anyone the way I do Luke. I watched the Daily Motion Best Bits of Adam and Luke that Luke posted the link for on facebook and realised again (not that I really needed it) exactly why I supported him in BB. If I'd put a wager on, it would have gone on Deana - but in my gut I so wanted Luke to win.

Luke will ALWAYS be one of the best winners for me - not least because I really didn't think he had a chance at one point with the insiders being so strong in numbers. My gut feeling was right too because he has proved since he left the house what a genuine nice bloke he is.

Yes, Deana looked like winning it all the way through really; which explains the horror and consternation among some of her fans when she didn't. But I do think it was for the best - Deana was obviously always going to make money outside the house wherever she came in BB.

Hare's the petition Jean. This is such sad news Richard Littlejohn should be ashamed of himself .

Congratulations on the 10 000 post milestone, you're nearly catching Wonkey up .

If it wasn't for Luke I wouldn't have watched this series. I didn't watch any of BB12 and I only caught the last series because I was staying with my mum on launch who always watches BB and I liked Luke so much that I continued watching. Is everyone intending on watching the next series? It'll be interesting to see if we all like the same housemates. Although I very much doubt that it will be as good as the last series, even if it was really stressful to watch!

I didn't know who was going win out of Luke, Adam and Deana. The fact that Luke managed to win despite having such tough competition makes his triumph even more satisfying.

Yes he is my favourite winner by miles . I remember being excited about the prospect of stalking him on twitter when he came out and he seems just as nice, if not nicer than he was in the house.

Yes I thought Deana might win it because she was leading the ds poll and I didn't realise the discrepancy of opinion between the majority of BB viewers and ds viewers. it must have been disappointing for the people who supported her do it was nice that so many people were gracious enough to congratulate Luke on his win.

That's true. I think any one of the top three would have made a worthy winner in other years, for Luke to beat such strong competition on the night was a fantastic achievement.

Yes it was a massive achievement, it was also a nice surprise that he was leading the votes every time he was up. I'm glad we didn't know whilst the series was being aired as it made the final night even more exciting.
