Maybe trying to cheer up someone who has had an awful week though.

I'm off first thing tomorrow, so this might be my last five minutes on here until TUESDAY when it will all be over.

I would so love Luke to win! Just the thought of him coming out as the winner on his wedding anniversary as well. If he wins I will never complain about anything again.*

*clearly a lie. No more charity promises for me though: having promised to give £50 to stonewall if Luke stayed and Becky went, I find that they are much more keen on standing orders, so I have a brand new standing order for £5 a month. I will probably still have it in 20 years time, making it an expensive eviction for me.

Enjoy the rest of the shows. Soldier absent on leave...”

We'll miss you WD. Have a lovely time in Montpelier and get on here first thing when you return home on Tuesday (hopefully to celebrate a Luke A win).

The wild card contestant anthony likes Luke.
In response to the question as to whether Luke A should win:

The only reason I disliked this nommy awards thing was purely because it was just another way to split the house. If any of the outsiders had won they would have all chosen each other and most probably Sara, so it`s just another little way to show divides. If it had been the housemates with the most "nommys" it would have been fairer. Nevermind, eh? It`s just little things like this that annoy me

How sweet

Its such a shame we didn`t get to see more of the other wildcards. Becky was such a let down, not only to us, but to Big Brother too. *Sigh*

I agree, they must kno that it would encourage them to talk about each other behind their backs as well. It's the final week, i wish BB would let them have a fun. lighthearted final week .

Have a lovely time WD

I thought it was a real tragedy that Luke didn't even (apparently) get to at least watch the cooking tonight

He posts here, I'm glad he didn't go in. He seems really nice and that house has been quite horrible all season.

Exactly, that`s what gets me. I think to keep this image that the outsiders are "game playing" and "miserable" Big Brother has to tweak this week and actually try to make them miserable. We have seen so many times how it just isn`t the case that the outsiders are boring and moody but Big Brother can`t have a happy house now, it wouldn`t fit the storylines so far.

Well if that`s true I`m quite disappointed. But we have to look after Luke S and pals first and foremost, don`t we??

i think this has been the first series where I`ve actually thought if I was in there it would have broken my spirit. We have had some good moments, obviously, but it has been overshadowed by the gang mentality of the insiders. I don`t know how Big Brother let it get so far to be honest. I can`t even pinpoint the moment it started but I still maintain that Caroline was instrumental to getting Luke sidelined by the main house. It was her dislike, coupled with Luke S` obvious disdain, that ensured he could never get on an equal footing with the others.

I think adam, luke a and lauren played their own part in that though. Constant sitting outside in the smoking area. They probably should have tried to split up and mingle a bit more.

Oh I`m not disputing that, they more then played their part, there is blame for most with the way the divide went. Can`t blame them for not wanting to mingle more with some of those people though

IMO their apparent chain smoking appears to have had a lot to do with it though. The other smokers seem to be more able to take it or leave it. As for the non smokers, we've seen Deana join them on numerous occasions, but I can't remember many of the others, such as Luke S and Conor going outside to chat to them.

Knowing how our Luke and Adam like their ciggies, I'm amazed they managed to survive the museum and previous box task without one. Unless those bits were edited out of course.

Hope Luke A gets some positive highlights tonight although I bet they'll go on about him being miffed at missing out on seeing the MIchelin chef in action. Which IMO is perfectly understandable.

Have a good trip, Wonkey.

Even when hms not in the "cool" gang tried to mingle they didn't really get very far. They only acceptewd Becky because at that stage they wanted the extra fire-power.Think it's understandable that the outsiders gave up on them, I certainly would have.

Glad LukeA didn't get in with them because His group was the only thing which has stopped it being an awful Final full of Insiders

Thank you. You make a good case. I might have had to take up smoking just to have an excuse to spend more time with the Outsiders, so if nothing else my health has benefited from the outcome...

Caroline is very sexually repressed and has problems with anything concerning "toilet parts". The Transgenderzone BB/Luke A blog (which is a MUST READ for anyone on this thread) did a transcript of her reaction when Luke "came out" to her. Bizarre is an understatement!

It's a bit of a chicken/egg situation. Did Luke, Adam and Lauren form a closer bond because they were smokers or was it just a coincidence that the smoking area became their safe haven? If I was in there I'd find it very uncomfortable sitting around people smoking or even the smell of stale cigarettes but there's absolutely no doubt that Luke A, Adam and Lauren would have been, by far, the people I would want to spend most of my time with. I'd much rather have a nice smoker than a clean living git!

Ever since the smoking area was introduced (BB8 if I recall), I've found it's played a very important part of how the groups in each house have developed.

Hey, I hope you don't mind me stalking you on twitter . It;s a shame you didn't make it into the main house, I'm sure you would have been a good addition to the outsiders, although as you said all that passive smoking wouldn''t have been good for your health.

Morning Lukettes

Have a lovely time away wonkeydonkey, next time you're on we can celebrate Luke's win!

Hello Anthony, I agree with Cowie - it's a good thing you didn't go in the house as most of them have been consistantly horrible all series!

You're welcome. My best friend and girlfriend are both smokers, mind, so it would in fact have been business as usual ...

Thanks, and lovely to see that I am not alone in favouring Luke A for the final (though as long as he soundly beats his namesake in there, I'll be content).

There have been (and still are) some appalling hypocrites in there, but at least the remaining ones are finally getting some long overdue comeuppance ...
