Just a quickie..
Is there no highlights show tonight? No watching them leave one by one? No echo of voices? No turning the lights out? ![]() I love those episodes as I like the little chats they have after someone has gone. ![]() Would have love to have seen the conversation with Adam, Luke and Deana just after Sara left and indeed the one after Deana left. Just can't find the hightlight show listed for tonight. |

BBBOTS is on tonight and Luke said on twitter that it is only going be the final five, one of them is going get gunged and there is going be a breakdown of the voting statistics. It will be interesting to see if Luke was leading in the voting throughout the series.

I'm absolutely delighted with Luke A's win - I was routing for him all the way. And not just because it gives us a nice but of symmetry with Nadia's win in 2004 (although that, I feel, speaks highly of the show and its viewers in itself). Largely I just think the nicest, most genuine and down-to-earth HM has won. No more tears about everyone hating him now, ay?! I should say not

A nice little interview with - ahem - ***the winner!***

Aaaaaaaaaaaaand, SO late to the party! I hardly know where to start. Quote:
Wish Wonkey was here.

I wish WD was here to celebrate with us.
SO DID I! I was stuck on a campsite with no internet and no phone connection and went quietly mad thinking of it all. Last night I think I had a bit of heatstroke and 5 million mosquito bites, and I literally lay feverishly in my bed all night thinking "Who's won? ITCH ITCH Could he possibly, possibly have done it? ITCH ITCH I need to know! I need to know! ITCH ITCH" Then this morning I got to Montpellier airport and all the English papers were Mondays, so it was still no use, so it was not until I landed at Gatwick and found a Smiths that I could FINALLY find out. I have never been so totally frustrated in my life. I have just been reading through the AT, and will watch the final as soon as I have decanted the more loathesome things from my suitcase. And scratched some of my bites, which sadly still itch in England. What an absolutely brilliant, fantastic, awe inspiring result though. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I would absolutely love to have been here at the time, but I was here in spirit. I am sorry to anyone who was at Gatwick airport this afternoon and saw a grubby looking person beaming inanely at absolutely nothing for about half an hour.Itch itch. I will be back. And thanks again to Jean for nobly phoning through all my votes when I couldn't. |

It was torture for us poor souls who had to watch the programme live expecting him to leave as 5th, 4th, 3rd then when it got to just two it was even worse. I still haven't recovered but I'm so
![]() ![]() ![]() . I had convinced myself that he was going come 4th, so when he made it to the top two I was elated. My favorite has never won before .

Wonkeeeeeeeeey! Welcome back!
![]() We diiiid it, we diiiiid it, we diiiiid it, we diiiiiid it! (*Happy dances round the AT*) Sorry to hear you've been a mozzie's restaurant. Hopefully unbridled joy will act as a natural antihistamine. Thanks for the Tweets from Rachel, hulakula. That's good of her to offer him advice so soon. From what I gather the show's own aftercare is pretty much non-existent. |

Welcome home Wonkey. Don't know if it was worse watching the Final as it happens, chewing the nails down to the quick and having lots of banging heartbeats or being you, wondering what was happening amidst the scratching lol.
Bet you were elated when you finally found out our hero had won! Am also a Friend accepted on his Fb and have been followed on his twitter. Don't know if I'll get lucky enough to get a reply on twitter though as he must have gazillions of tweets on there to read. It's usually just a real slice of luck if you happen to be on there at the same time - it's still great just reading his tweets whoever they are addressed to though isn't it

24 hours late but still....
1. Fancy making Lauren walk out with Caroline! You could tell that the crowd wanted simultaneously to cheer wildly and boo their heads off. 2. Poor Luke S - his interview sounded SO rushed, with at least 50% of it used up in showing him losing the 50 grand. ![]() 3. Deana posing after she is evicted with what appear to be wall to wall Luke A to win posters behind her. Seems to be a very Luke crowd... 4. Deana a bit hard hearted saying if Luke S cried they must have been fake tears. ![]() 5. What IS it with the housemates (Caroline and Conor to be precise) turning their backs and talking ostentatiously when the interviews are going on? 6. Luke A pacing up and down drinking water while Adam is being interviewed and accidentally inhaling some of the water so he has to stop and choke... 7. What a fantastically happy exit. ![]() ![]()

I shall watch it again - I was so excited that I missed a lot of it because I was posting on here and on the FB Luke page. I did all your votes - I lost count once I reached 200 but it was worth it. Luke so happy that he had won and really he couldn't believe it. A fantastic night! Now it is back to reality. My 18 year old grandson came home after playing football tonight in total agony. He had fallen and put both hands out to save himself and now has terrific pain in both elbows and cannot straighten his arms. He is at A and E now, has had an xray and daughter and son in law are with him waiting for the results. I am praying it is nothing serious as both arms are out of action and, as my daughter, said, he is a bit old for her to start wiping his bottom HE has been offered a place at Cambridge to read Maths so we are waiting with anticipation for his A level results on Thursday. C'est la vie!
