Who is the white haired old guy in specs handing out teeshirts on BBBOTS?
I think that he used to be a DJ.

Rachel was a lovely girl. I see her pal Mikey is DJ on BBBOTS tonight - he's as daft as a brush.

Anthony is happy that Luke won:
Yes, nice to be able to close my decidedly mixed Big Brother experience on a positive note. A victory for Luke S would have been a grim closing note, though possibly not as grim as a foulmouthed misogynist swaggering off with half of the prize fund ...

Oh bless. I suppose it wouldn't cheer him up to send him love from a lot of scary strange women on the internet?
I will let you know!

PS Luke S got gunged

My cousin's eldest managed a nasty compound fracture of his right arm about a year back when he was 16. Humerus sticking out of his shoulder - the works. He was trying one of those fancy footie kicks where you kick the ball back over your head...?

It took a lot of time and physio but he is now as right as rain. Not brilliant timing for your grandson I know but fingers crossed he makes a speedy recovery.

On a practical note I use DragonDictate in the office - if he's going to be out of action for a while but needs to study that might help. It's a bit freaky at first. And of course no-one can resist seeing what naughty words you can get away with.

Thanks I will ask him but it is only 6 weeks (hopefully) and the hospital told him to try and use his arms a bit otherwise they will stiffen up.

Hi Anthony.

I agree with everything you said. It's like he got rewarded for bad behaviour.

True. It still seems like baiting by Ch 4 to me, to react to over 1000 complaints to Ofsted by manipulating the show so the cause of the complaints skipped off with half the prize money. The kindest explanation I can think of is that they wanted him out asap and he just wasn't getting the nominations.

Anyway Anthony, I am sure you don't need telling that Becky really was not a success as a housemate, and that most of us wish the twitter vote had gone differently. It's been good having you on DS anyway, giving your take on things.

I've enjoyed my time on DS hugely. I don't know yet how closely I'll be following CBB (depends a lot on who they have), but I will definitely not be disappearing any time soon.

The fact that Conor took 50K of Luke's winnings does leave a bitter taste in the mouth. It would have been much better if it had been split between Adam and Deana instead.

I wasn't expecting Luke to top the votes that week, especially by such a large margin . I presume the aftermath of BMIgate and the episode of BBBOTS which was dedicated to his character assassination encouraged many people to vote for him.

That's a good point. And I am not a mean person, generally, towards teenage girls, but there is something amusing about the thought that Becky's sister tried so hard to do damage to Luke and might have been instrumental in his success.

Belated thanks to Deana, come to think of it, for 'releasing Luke from his promise' to wear the chick suit. I was quite pleased to see him sitting in jeans and boots...

I bet she's kicking herself now. Her attempt to discredit Luke backfired and instead she facilitated her sisters eviction and contributed to her rivals victory. I'm sure Ashleigh would have gone if Becky hadn't kicked up such a fuss about the BMI comment, there was only 1.1% in it.

I thought it was sweet when Luke was telling Emma Willis how much he admired Benedict and how he looked up to him .

Luke's fanbase was underestimated , probably because of some Deana fans swamping the forum and polls lol

I think Luke had an appeal across the board with the GBP and as we've said in earlier posts, beating the very popular Lauren was a real pointer to his own popularity

So good to have you back where you belong - itch or no itch

It was a fantastic night and I hope you get the chance to watch it on catch up. I shall watch it again - I was so excited that I missed a lot of it because I was posting on here and on the FB Luke page.

I did all your votes - I lost count once I reached 200 but it was worth it. Luke so happy that he had won and really he couldn't believe it. A fantastic night!

Now it is back to reality. My 18 year old grandson came home after playing football tonight in total agony. He had fallen and put both hands out to save himself and now has terrific pain in both elbows and cannot straighten his arms. He is at A and E now, has had an xray and daughter and son in law are with him waiting for the results. I am praying it is nothing serious as both arms are out of action and, as my daughter, said, he is a bit old for her to start wiping his bottom HE has been offered a place at Cambridge to read Maths so we are waiting with anticipation for his A level results on Thursday. C'est la vie!
Hope your grandson isn't suffering too much today poor soul and fingers crossed for the A-level results.

Would have been better if LukeA hadn't had half his well-earned prize money cut in half by someone so undeserving, don't know what ch5 were thinking there.
