Yes, Luke has also said on the FB group that Deana was invited. I'm sure that they will sort out this misunderstanding in private .It seems like they had some sort of breakdown in communication and as WD suggested, perhaps Adam informed her via twitter and she didn't get it or something along those lines. I just think that people who are accusing Luke and Adam of lying or intentionally excluding Deana are aggravating the situation.

To give Deana the slight benefit of the doubt, I really don't think Benedict's play would have appealed to her. I'm sure it's not the done thing for higher-caste Indian girls to get entertained by naked winkies. As for Adam's party, the more I hear about it the more I think it was just a silly mix up of communication. Hopefully a simple apology will clear it all up but it was quite mischievous of her to Tweet: Quote:
nope I'm not wanted apprently don't know why

Stirring the pot that's what it is.
I can't see them excluding her for no reason. |

Agreed, Luke has said that she was invited, their must have been a mix up. It would have been better if it had been dealt with in private, instead of broadcast on twitter.

Liked the way Luke was so pleased that Julian won cbb. We've been blessed with two superb BB winners this year.Genuine, kind people who were just themselves all the way through. This is definitely my favourite year for BB
![]() Mine too ![]() I was very much in the poppet army last year, but Aaron didn't embrace us like Luke has, which was a shame. Quote:

Luke has no reason to lie or Adam for that matter, why Deana has said what she did I have no idea, but on the face of it, why the hell would they care what Deana fans think anyway. They choose to believe Deana, so they really cannot win. If I was them I would just block them and move on. They have plenty of support from people who like them for themselves. Nobody knows what or if anything went on at all, but it has nothing to do with anyone but them. Wouldn't you think though, If you were good friends and someone has not invited you to there party, would you not ask them why? So why has Deana not asked them rather than post what she did on twitter, hmmm. |

But on the other hand, Deana can expel the rumours on twitter with just one tweet, she chose the other option.

So why has Deana not asked them rather than post what she did on twitter, hmmm. Yes, it appears to me that she was intentionally trying to cause trouble. Adam's party was a public event, he had tweeted the details several times on twitter. Lauren only found out via twitter and they had met up with Shievonne and Benedict the day before. If she really wanted to go why didn't she just ask, it seems a bit spiteful and childish.. Although, by the looks of the wrap party pictures they seem to have made up at least that's something. |

Of course, I wasn't critising her, I was just highlighting the fact that the others have made an effort to include her. Yes, I think that was wrong of her, she must have known that it would rile some people and they would react by harrassing Adam and Luke. It seemed like a spiteful thing to do. Hopefully, they will sort their differences out tonight, as this whole thing has been blown way out of proportion.

Bit of a shame that none of the celebrities bothered to go to the party last night, since obviously the BB contestants would have been pleased to meet them. Still, it sounds as if a good time was had by all - maybe not so much Deana who seems only have said that she wanted to go to bed early, but still. And all for the best that Conor wasn't there at all.

![]() On the other hand, there were a few pictures of Luke with Deana so everything seems good there. I think the problem seems to be the invite to Adam's birthday party went out on twitter and Deana either didn't see it or expected them to speak to her directly. Still, hopefully everything's sorted now. Deana is a lovely girl and I really doubt if Adam and Luke would have still been around for the final if she hadn't joined forces with them. I think Adam and Luke would have been picked off by the Insiders without Deana and, of course, the air-time gained by the soldiers thing didn't do them any harm at all in terms of seeing what nice people they were and getting people to vote for them. Without the Deana rallying the soldiers, the last few weeks would have been the Ashleigh and Luke S show - I wonder how many viewers would have been left at the end with that fascinating romance to watch

![]() It is interesting btw that BB cut out all their challenges, eg the milk drinking one. They tend not to show people consciously trying to entertain; eg they cut out ALL Charlie's 'nana' act, and ALL Nick and victor's stuff from UBB. But I like it when housemates make an effort to keep themselves amused - I was constantly maddened, for example, by the fascinating sounding conversations that the outsiders were described on BB twitter as having, not one second of which was ever shown - and it would have been nice to have seen at least a couple of their Jackass style games. It's not as if it was endlessly fascinating watching Becky clapping her thighs together, or whatever superior entertainment they decided to broadcast on the day. |

yes, I have always thought that. Much as I loved Luke and Adam, I don't think they would have provided enough drama on their own (bearing in mind BB's decision not to show any of their challenges) to get much airtime.

I think they have to have a villain as in this years celeb BB. I think at one point they tried to make Luke out to be the villain, with them manipulating the week old BMI issue, although I do think it backfired as people felt sorry for Luke. I also think Deana would not have the support she had or the story line without Conor (whom I dislike btw). As in the celeb version, Coleen would not have had a storyline without Julie. I think a lot is contrived and manipulated. It is now getting difficult for me to believe what they show. |

This is my favourite Luke picture so far - not because it is especially flattering (he always takes a good picture) but because they are just laughing and don't even know that their picture is being taken.
The editing of BB is always prone to bias; even when BB do not have favourites and villains, they can never resist a 'story'. Sometimes I can't understand the edit at all: in BB13 they constantly showed the insiders discussing nominations without punishment, and I kept thinking, well they didn't have to show it at all, did they? We would never have known. Were they just trying to piss us off? Luke and Adam's 'story' was not to be funny or inventive, but to be OUTSIDERS, ie isolated and excluded from the action. People were always saying on here that "they do nothing but sit outside and smoke", even on days when they had almost no cigarettes. It was just the way they were edited. Who would have known, for example, if it hadn't been commented in during nominations, that Sara spent much of her time in bed? That was not a good 'story' at all, so it wasn't shown. |

I agree WD. I was shocked that BB never showed any of Luke and Adam's challenges. One time they had to see an eye specialist which was dangerous, why on earth did they not show us that. It does show, that it is manipulated to how BB want it. The lack of live feed is bad enough, but we only have what they want to show to go on.

I think for the same reason they didn't show us Scott trying to drink aftershave, the danger that viewers may try and emulate that behaviour

Well, I am back in the UK after a fabulous holiday in Greece. I see Larry/Miles/Existentialist who I am sure are one and the same, have now taken to slating Martin Kemp - still it gives Luke a rest.
It was great to get home to find that Julian had won CBB as Luke wanted him to win too. |
