The 'greatest housemate' game has finally reached series 13. Just so that people on here know.

He hasn't got a cat in hell's chance of winning his round but he's in good company as hardly any of the actual winners have got throught to the next round,

These forum games can throw up funny results. In the 'hottest housemate' poll Luke came below Sam pepper. I mean nothing wrong with Sam but come on.

I love Trumbles comment about "I have decided to stick to housemates I could dunk in an egg".

Thanks for the reminder Sam Pepper was cute .

I loved Sam Pepper and thought he was very attractive. Luke, for me and I'm sure for you too, is in another league altogether.

[Googles Sam Pepper . Looks at picture in a puzzled kind of way.]

OK. [shrugs] That was my 48,000th post btw. I just thought I should mark the occasion - though in the general discussion forum, which is ruder than this one, the invariable response to a high post count is "get a life".

Congratulations. Hmm... "a life"... not entirely sure what that is but I expect it's very overrated.

Anyway... urgghhh... I got very bolshy on FB last night for daring to say they should move on from that whole Winner's Story campaign. Sure he should have had one but if C5 are digging their heels in I'd rather stop flogging a dead horse, be positive and wait for Luke to start showcasing what he's capable of.

At the moment he's still in that honeymoon period having fun with Adam and I don't begrudge them that, but in the meantime the fans are taking it upon themselves to do what he's paying an agent to do. I want to support him, not run his business for him!

I hate to say this, but you do wonder how good the agent actually is. If it is the same as the one appointed for all the housemates who didn't already have one last year, I wouldn't hold my breath for anything much to come of it. Aaron, Faye, Harry, Mark and Jay were all marketable to one extent or another yet all seem to have been forgotten about.

48,000!!!

I can understand your bemusement WD lol. Shall we say he grew on me (I thought he was hideous when I first saw him). See he made me laugh and I loved his exuberance and his love of life. Plus, to be fair, that is not the most flattering photo of him!! lol

I can't see Channel 5 budging now sadly. The moment has been lost.

I feel the same about that, hence I haven't badgered C5 He needs to consider his future direction, as he appears to have given up his job

Yup, all that agent really seems to do is arrange night club appearances He needs to consider the fact that Luke is not just a one trick pony (BB), and has other talents and distinctions- unlike most other BB winners.

I agree with you. It was unlucky for Luke that CBB came immediately after BB, but it's not as if a Winner's Story programme has ever been guaranteed. In BB8, for example, we had 'What the Housemates Did Next', which consisted almost entirely of Shabnam recording a single which no one bought. It would be the equivalent, this year, of a programme focusing largely on Victoria or Chris.

It has. Apart from anything else, there would be no footage. The whole idea of A Winner's Story was that it showed the housemate going home in triumph and their friends and family throwing a big party for them. All it would show if they did it now would be Luke going home to a very cross wife.

I think (being a bit shirty with the generally lovely facebook group here) that people should be a bit less in love with rather pointless tv. Back in the day Luke would have been on 8 out of 10 cats with someone reasonably famous, and then...he would be in exactly the same place as he is now. I would far rather see him doing what he actually said he wants, ie relatively low-key stuff that gives trans people someone to look up to.

Yeah, I guess I find What The Winner Did Before would be more interesting than What The Winner Did Next. Hopefully when he starts his Transgenderzone blog we'll find out more about what makes him tick. I still reckon he'd be a very enlightening writer if he ever put his mind to it.

I think that his transzone blog and interview with Meta magazine will be far more interesting than a generic 'winners story' type show, which is looking increasing less likely to be commissioned.

He has so much to tell and it would be a fascinating read.

Perhaps Luke should write a book as, apparently, Aaron is doing but about his life rather than his BB experience.

Absolutely. If he started writing his story in a blog and it was as fascinating as we all suspect it would be, news would spread and someone would pick it up to go further, either as a book or a documentary. It needs Luke to take a bit of initiative but I don't think his mind's in that zone right now. Hopefully he'll be up for something before too long, even over the space of the last month he seems to have grown a lot more at peace with his past.

I'm gutted. I've been spying on twitter (naughty me - slaps own hand) and I've been replaced in Luke's affections by a LOBSTER - sob sob
