Have this years CH5 BB Producers been very clever or very stupid ?

First time poster here but long time fan of Big Brother. Have been reading through all the countless threads and posts on here and finally decided to get involved.

OK, it's a generalisation and personal opinion but it does seem that this current series has provoked a lot of reaction from all BB fans in terms of how the show has been run this year and the term 'train crash' keeps appearing.

Lots of you seem to be unhappy that from day 1 that the producers and BB management team have somehow abused the format, ignored the fanbase, and generally manipulated every situation to purposely create controversy culminating in a twist last night with Conor walking out the house with 50K of the prize money that appears to have gone down like a lead balloon or cup of cold sick with many.

So, my question is, have the CH5 BB producers been very clever or very stupid this year ? Will the show survive beyond this point or have they managed to kill it off and we are simply now watching the funeral ?

If you had been in charge of the series this year what would YOU have done differently ?

For one there would of been live feed. People can't make a genuine opinion of someone without seeing what there like throughout the day, we can all make assumptions but don't fully know the truth.

I would of also tried to generally go with what the audience wanted in terms of tasks, twists etc.

Maybe be a bit harsher aswell, BB have been soft this year, can't keep count of the many times they've had parties.

I'm not one to criticise BB generally, because I like the show. Overall they do a good job on it.

But this £50K for Conor thing was an almighty screw up IMO. I bet his uncle is really happy.

I think there was a line they clearly stepped over this year and in my opinion that line was last nights 50k to Conor twist.

I also think it has been a 'soft' house this year and that BB has allowed the HM's way too much control over everything starting off with them allowing them to discuss nominations, then not getting tough enough with them for breaking this rule when they changed it. Unfortunately they created the frankenstein monster with the whole nominations thing and couldnt put a lid on it resulting in the train wreck that followed.

Way too many rewards, and not nearly enough hardship or punishment this year. Too many parties and too many dull or ill thought out tasks.

No wonder they were so bitchy this year when they seemed to be left to their own devices most of the time.
