She started in off her appearances on Tv on London Weekend TV in the mid seventies co-presenting the local news programme after the news at 6 pm. Can't remember who was the main presenter, it was either Bill Grundy (of swearing Sex Pistols fame), Eamonn Andrews (This is your Life) or Michael Aspel (ditto). Her presenting partner was Danny Baker - so just be grateful it was her that went on to bigger and better things and not him
(BTW, she was also married to a member of Sigue Sigue Sputnik in the eighties - very bizarre!)
