Changing Networks Keeping Number?
I've been with t-mobile for 7 years and I've had such a bad time with them since my last upgrade, my phone has broken 10 times and I've had hardly any luck 'repairing it' and they've messed up my bill so many times so I'm going to change. But I'm wondering if it's possible to keep my number if I change networks? I have a lot of business contacts on my phone and I'm wondering if it would be too much hassle to give everyone a new number. I know it sounds stupid, but I am useless when it comes to any form of technology!

Yup, you can keep your number easy as pie.
What you want to do is tell your network (t-mobile) your giving them your 30 days notice to cancel and you would like your PAC code. Then whatever network you decide to go with you can give them your PAC code and they will transfer your existing number onto your new contract. It usually takes a maximum of 48hours, though it is normally done within 24hours. Hope that helps S |
