Without looking at the list of trophies, how many of them are the exact same criteria that the emblems offer?

MGS4 is still the best game on PS3 for me.

Only 4 years too late....
Thinking back MGS4 left a real bad taste in my mouth and has severly damaged the franchise in my mind. It was retconned, gave lazy answers repeatedly (nanomachines) and ruined nearly all of the characters. The twist near the end was the biggest farce ever. Even the gameplay was a let down. The bosses were extremely boring by MGS standards and the couple who were exciting had horrible gameplay mechanics. Stealth wasn't as natural as it was in the first three games until you're forced to do it in the Act 3 (like what the hell?) But even when you realised it is possible to do it in the whole game (from the hardest mode when you HAVE TO) you have to do a part with horrible AI that's game breaking out of your control. Disappointing.... |

Oh wow, is there something new to the PS3 hidden here to? The game has patch notes! And you can now go back to the Game Data Area, Press Triangle, and click "View Patch Notes" to see what's been changed in the latest patch. MGS4 is the first game I've seen do this!

Yes, available today, interesting to point out, the full data install option only takes up 10GB of Hard Drive space (including extra iPod tracks and Camo downloaded), previously Each Chapter Install was around 4GB.

Ugh, I despise games that have silly trophy lists like that.
You get a trophy for causing an alert while wearing a certain camo, but no trophy for getting through the whole game without alerts?! I'll pass. Played it twice, enjoyed it twice, but no motivation to go back and do it all over again. |

Obtained the Stealth Camouflage. Missable The Stealth Camouflage is a secret item that when equipped will give you the ultimate cover. It will make you literally invisible. In order to acquire this item, you will have to complete the game without getting in an ALERT status at all. This can be a little tough, so you should take your time while advancing through areas with enemies. I advise you to go for this trophy during your final run for the Big Boss emblem as you will have to avoid killing anyone to get that emblem. Do not worry as you must not use this item while going for the Big Boss Emblem. See the walkthrough at the end of the guide for a run on Boss Extreme. You can alternatively buy it from Drebin for 5,000,000 points but you don’t want to spend that many points there. I think there is a trophy for not causing an alert |

![]() The Trophies are Stealth Trophies, they seem innocent, but require you to do loads, such as: Sounds of the Battlefield - Gold Collect all iPod Songs Doesn't seem too bad right? ...Except that ONE song is unlocked by getting Big Boss Rank, meaning, No Rations, No Continues, No Alerts, Under 5 Hours, Extreme Difficulty. |

The full install feature is definitely the best thing about this patch.
I'm surprised it's not been bigged up more. |

I agree the full install option is a god send. I love playing this game again.
