It's a real ethical dilemma, and I say that as someone who does not eat meat because of factory farming.
Big game hunting is the hunting of large game. The term is historically associated with the hunting of Africa's Big Five game (lion, the African elephant, the Cape Buffalo, the leopard and the rhinoceros

SICK!!

Haha, good edit? Scott has barely registred for a lot of this series. Lets face it, it has been mostly the Deana vs Conor show. The rest are just fillers.

Yes, I am not disagreeing with you. It would be so much better if people didn't kill these beautiful animals at all. The problem is that until human beings realise how foul this is, unsupervised shooting (including kills that fail and leave rare and breeding animals injured until they die painfully) will flourish unless these idiots are able to shoot at virtually farmed gazelles and zebra. It's all disgusting, and so is Scott for wanting to do it.

Google "game hunting" and see what you get. He does game hunting, he wants some day to go big game hunting in Africa. Deana once said she wants to marry a kept man and keep him on an allowance, should people stop voting for her because of that, even though she has never actually done it?

I get that some people have a major hang-up about hunting, but there's no need to lie and exaggerate about what someone has done in the name of championing one's cause. It's a safe bet Scott has never shot a giraffe in Africa. If he ever does, he can still use it for food - it's on the menu of quite a few restaurants there.

I don't condone it, no. It doesn't affect my opinion on how Scott has been as a housemate, however.

Ok, cool, personally I could not vote to save someone who aspires to do that. I just hope Scott didn't really mean it and was being flippant or 'controversial'.

I feel the same way. I have twice been on a charity mountain trek in Romania to raise funds for a Bear Sanctuary that takes in injured and mistreated bears. I'm going again in September, it is so sad what some of these beautiful animals have to go through.

That's him on my sh!t list.
Arghhhhh mine too !! I hate people that kill animals for fun and to go and kill wild game in Africa for "fun" is nothing short of disgraceful when their numbers are declining as fast as they are. Horrible little boy he is.

Lol at he idea that Scott might just want to hunt for food. He's talking about trophy hunting in Africa. "Oh I'm starving so I think I'll pop across to Africa and pick up a wild elephant and a lion".

We know why rich white morons travel to Africa to hunt big wild animals, and it isn't because they're hungry. They're pushing animals like the African lion towards extinction

That makes me so angry !!! If they only knew how hard a life these animals have as it is, then they go and shoot them with high powered rifles from moving vehicles that the animals are habituated to, it disgusts me totally !

I hope you're not implying that I have lied or exaggerated. Big game hunting in Africa means KILLING BIG GAME, ie elephants, giraffes, lions etc etc.

If you condone it that's up to you, but I find it abhorrent.

There's a possibility he was just trying to think of something to match the posh accent, but then again he doesn't exactly go out of his way to say anything controversial in the house so it'd be a bit out of character.

It is strange, if it wasn't for this I probably would have supported him.

I think they are encouraged to go to the max on their VT's to make an impression that is memorable to get you noticed which im hoping that is true of Scott. Game hunting in this country Im kind of Ok with as you are shooting rabbit's and pheasants which will be eaten afterwards. I dont agree with killing lions or elephants or rhino's. TBH I would rather the people that hunted them were shot.

The same here. I detest people who shoot animals, he is worsed than Conor and the other back stabbing bitches that have been evicted.

He never actually spoke about it in his VT (which was actually one of the best and most true to self imo, you should watch it), there was just a video of him with a gun as a sort of backdrop - which may well could have been an idea by the producers to fit the stereotypical posh housemate. Is that all that people are basing it on? I assumed he'd spoken about it and that I'd just forgotten

And he's never been big game hunting, yet keep posting pictures of dead giraffes and demanding his crucifixion for the giraffe.

I was posting the story as an example of hunters who go to Africa to hunt 'big game' this includes giraffes. Read his profile again.

...member of shooting and countryside societies at university, he enjoys hunting game and would love to visit Africa and "bring trophies back".

I think the only people who could complain about this are vegetarians. Once you've accepted its ok to kill animals for meat then its hypocritical to complain how its done.
