Dannii reveals she WAS offered a return to X Factor but turned it down.
I guess what was written in the press was true
![]() Here Dannii says she was offered a return but turned it down due to AGT commitments again. She also hints she never will return: "I had four incredible years on The X Factor but the show has moved on and so have I" http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...were-true.html |

I hate the way they treated Kelly Rowland.. they had talks but they were showing that they didn't need her I.e refusing to give her time off, and refusing to give her a pay rise when Tulisa and Gary are getting one. If you think about it, Tulisa can't be getting close to 1 million while Kelly is getting half that, when Kelly is actually bigger than Tulisa in the Big Industry.
I hate the way they treated Kelly during the talks. They were really pushing her away to make way for a triumphant return for Danni. And Hahaha, she refused!! |

As much as I miss Dannii and I wish she could have came back, I'd rather she wouldn't. We all know the show is slowly slipping, and Dannii definitely went out on a high (so much of a high that people still want her back) I don't want to see Dannii slip with the show. She's still got her fanbase here and I'm hoping she will come back for a different show, but not as a contestant

She probably turned down due to embarrassment over the Simon business. People would think she sh*gged her way back onto the judging panel!

I actually see Kelly pulling a Liz Taylor. The makers of "Cleopatra" wanted to sign Liz who didnt want to do the film. When they called Liz she said to whomever took the call, "Tell them I'll do it for a million bucks" and they took her up on it. That was really an outrageous sum at the time.
I dont think Kelly wanted to come back at all but its better to say "They couldnt match me" politely. |

Obviously I'd love it if she were to return, but it is nice that Dannii left the show as the winning mentor of the most watched and publicised series in X Factor history.

To survive, a successful show has to change and move on and that includes a people change. XF has attempted to change but the essence of the show has been completely lost in an extremely unfair, scheming, manipulative, false process.
Like all corporates it is all about profit. Add to this an Entrepreneur's need to put people down in order to attempt to illuminate a boring, colourless, bland character and it all just gets too predictable. All very underhand and tacky to the more discerning viewer. Unfortunately, there are still those sections of the viewing public who, incredulously, believe the show to be credible. ![]() ![]() I like people who want to achieve and master their talent (eg Olympians) and like to watch them as they take their opportunity on a much needed platform. What spoils the show for me are the judges (some with iffy credentials) and the talentless 'hangers-on'. They drain the life blood out of a process that may just find something realistically special. Danni go back on XF? She made a huge faux pas but at least attempted to be a credible judge nurturing talent. Who would want to continue to be in a declining market when there is other opportunity elsewhere? |
