I have used LoveFilm instant for several months now, whilst it still has a ways to go to worry Netflix it has come on a long way from the afterthought it once was.

The streaming quality is much better too, especially on HD but one nagging issue remains (at least for me) there always seems to be a judder, which is really only noticeable in zoomed out / scenery shots where the camera is panning across a landscape. this happens in HD and SD mode but seems more apparent in HD (perhaps a side effect of the increased resolution?).

Perhaps the best way to describe it is as if it is skipping / losing 1 or 2 frames every second. Normal close up shots e.g. actors, close up indoor shots etc all look fine it's just the panning that seems to show it up.

I watch on my PC using Windows 7 and the Chrome browser. The PC is a quad core 2.66GHZ with 8GB RAM and a powerful graphics card so should be more than adequate as should my connection: virgin media cable 30mbps, would have thought even the lovefilm hd stream would only be about 5mbps?

Anyone else noticed this? Could it be an issue with my system set up or just a limitation of lovefilm's service?

Thanks but I have always connected via ethernet as this allows me to get the full 30mbps my connection is capable of, if I connect via wireless I only manage around 10mbps, which is quite poor, especially considering the PC is physically right next to the router! I do connect the PS3 wirelessly and that too only gets about 10mbps despite being physically within 1.5m of of the router, my router must have really bad wifi.
