No, I don't think so. IMO, Ian is an underrated character and Adam is a very good actor and hardly gets any praise for his work. I think that Adam Woodyatt should be nominated in the IS Awards, BSA's etc...

He should win an award, he's one of the best actors in Eastenders. I hate it when Ian walks around Walford like he owns the place and with a stupid grin on his face but he's been brilliant as a tramp. He is very convincing as a broken man.

Special achievement award he should get. After all he has given 28 years of his life to that show. He's the only long serving actor not to get an award

I don't see the significance of this. As we get old, most of us iwll have given decades to our chosen profession, doesn't mean we automatically get special achievemnt award simply on the merity of longevity at our job. I don't count Adam as an outstanding actor, average for a soap actor.

Maybe give him the lifetime award in another 28 years time, cause if enders is stil going then, i can see him, still being there, he is very typecast now.

He will get the lifetime achievement when he leaves EE or it gets cancelled.

If the likes of Anthony Cotton get best actor it is obviously popularity competitions. Steve and Jake are just as good but never get awards for best actor.

Ever wonder why?

He is TERRIBLE.

He has spent 28 years "acting" badly, and in my opinion is one of the most talentless people on our screens.

But, hats off to Adam ... he's made a fortune from it, and far more than I could ever earn!! He's conned his way into millions!

Seriously ....,

Ian is Eastenders mate..., might not be popular but Adam is a brilliant actor.

I'm shocked he has won none ...Ian has lots of history with the show.

Adam has been fantastic in his comeback scenes...

Ian is a shell at the moment but Adam's acting makes it compelling...

I understand that what someone classes as "good" acting is subjective, but I find it hard to believe anyone thinks Adam Woodyatt is a bad actor. Hes always convincing whether hes Ian the cocky obnoxious git swaggering round the square, or Ian the broken man.

Even on a bad day Adam is better than a lot of soap actors on their best days...

I don't usually vote at awards, but this time I may do, as I'm passionate about seeing Adam get an award- He truly deserves it after that superb performance.

No because hams like joyner and turner seem to get the gongs and the glory, Woodyatt is consistent in his performances and dare i say it the backbone of EE along with June Brown.

Adam is like Steve (Phil) they are the most underatted actors in soap, when in fact (well imo) they are by far two of the best actors in soap.

Adam is an amazing actor, I'm genuinely surprised to learn that he hasn't won an award.

Outtake TV once gave him an award for "Most Outtakes" though...

He's not good looking enough to win.
When actors like Adam, Steve & Jake Wood don't get anything, yet Scott Maslen wins the best actor award, it says it all really.

Don't know whether it was a complete coincidence, but Adam retweeted someone asking him if he's ever won award for playing Ian - he said no, but he's got an award for his photography,
