Sarah I take it you weren't happy that Ste let Walker stay in my fic?

I know doug's his boyfriend so it made sense he was there but it really did bug me cause like Ally said he didn't get to spend his last day with him because doug had him running around and i thought apart from michaela it kinda makes sense she was there amy's long-term bestfriend but i thought it was a personal moment between amy ,ste and the kids cause it's the last time they'll be a proper family.

ETA: Walker ain't no hunk. ”

Walker isn't a hunk, he is better than that, Riley is a hunk.

But honestly I'm not a parent but I am an aunt and if my pains in the bum are going on holiday I make sure I spend the day before with them, I often even go to the airport with them.

I don't want to, they make me.

To imagine a dad who had two kids and his best friend moving away, even to the next town, wouldn't spend every minute with them that he could stinks to me.

Again Doug should have done the same.

I don't want to hate Doug but they are making it impossible.

All it would take is for him to say I will step back, I know how hard this is for you, come and find me when you want comfort.

Instead we get him making Ste go and do something that could have been done the next day and not spending the day with his kids.

In fact that really bothers me, Ste knows they are leaving and he may not see them for a couple of weeks but they made it all about Amy and Doug.

Does no one at HOs have children?

Ste would not have left their sides that day. ”

Brilliant post...you said everything I've been thinking..

Yeah, I didn't get that with Doug.

Ste could of had an extra hour of two with his children but instead Doug made him go to the police station?

Wrong, just so wrong.

it's the fact he had to promise ste he'd see the kids later he shouldn't have to if that was me i'd say do i need your permission when i can say bye to my kids. They coulda postponed the police visit.

Oh I know but it took Brendan ages to be classed as a hunk and get his kit off a bit more. I don't think Walker will be around long enough to earn that label.

Yeah, it was all a bit weird. The fact they had Ste choose the deli over spending the day with his kids was bizarre, cos Ste would never.

There is no way in hell as a parent you would not spend the day with your kids. No one EVER comes before your kids (or at least they shouldn't)

Right, tea and olympics for me

There was a bit in yesterday's that struck me as a bit odd. When Dougie and Amy were having a little chat, she said to him that she knew she couldn't make Ste happy like he could, and he responded with something about Amy and himself having a lot in common. It sounded as if he was saying that he didn't make Ste happy either...

For get the hell away from Brendan's boy purposes, nooooooooooooooo.

I just saw the clip. bramy scene was brilliant even if it was short, they deseved their final little scene togheter.

I also agree on the fact that doug doesn't really understand ste's feelings. let's hope thats' the start of the end for stug

I adored that Bramy scene so much. So, so much.

I keep rewatching.

I really really wanted a scene of just him and the kids. And then Amy. Just their little family.

Preach it. Walker, emerges from shower in only a towel, hair wet, walks into kitchen. All eyes turn.

"Hello."

I suppose no matter what happens I should just be content in the knowledge that Ste seeks Brendan out, for a little while at least. ”

The scraps they toss us Maya.

The great thing about the hug and the convo were they were unspoilered. I'm starting to wonder about this one. But we'll find out.

And yeah. Cannot stand Doug basically, he gets on my t*ts.

Not even sorry.

Hehe It kicks off next chapter, don't you worry

Yeah I didn't get that line, Sarah, but what you say makes sense.

I guess they might just be building up to Ste going to Brendan cos Doug doesn't understand but realising he loves Doug cos Brendan does something to make him realise or whatever, but hmm.

I mean even if he wanted to spend the day with Doug, which he obviously didn't, then he would have included them in the family day plans.

HOs can't have it both ways, they can't have Ste be 'all about the kids' and then let him be led away to the copshop like that.

I know the people who went to the storylining thing were talking about how hard it was to get A, B and C stories to line up but hey it's hard making HOs, is it too hard?

If they can't make the characters and actions match up with the time of day, the history of the character, or the nature of reality then they need a different job.

It's a prized job for a reason, lots of people want it, lots of people can do it as well, or better, than you do.

If it is too much for you then make way for other people.

Or get a job at Holby.

Oh, that's interesting, Sarah. I never picked up on that.

I just don't know what to think. It feels as though certain things are deliberate, but then I'm half convinced that this wedding fiasco with Leanne is going to end in them reaffirming their love for each other and their relationship. However that may be.

I didn't like the Bramy scene

But I've only watched it once so I might need to re-watch.
