Pretty self-explanatory:

Confirmed Exits

1.Ash Ferreira
2.Ronnie Ferreira
3.Tariq Larousi
4.Adi Ferreira
5.Kareena Ferreira
6.Sasha Perkins
7.Vicki Fowler
8.Den Watts
9.Spencer Moon
10.Paul Trueman
11.Andy Hunter

Possible Exits

Kate Mitchell (Jill was axed, but could now stay – To be honest If I was her, I’d go and take my popularity some where else).

Letitia Dean – She’s off to Panto land over crimbo, but has strongly hinted that because she is getting on in years, she wants to start a family of her own before she dries up and so will NOT be returning to the show. (Personally I think she’s being deceptive and is already with child.)

Arriving

1. Johnny Allen
2. Jake Moon
3. Danny Moon

Staying

Perry Fenwick aka Billy Mitchell has just had his contract renwed and so will be staying on the show.

Others set to stay include: Alfie and Kat Moon, Mo Mitchell and Harris, Pat, Pauline, Ian and the remaining members of the Slater family along with the Millers and a small number of the Watts family.

Hmm, 11 - possibly 13 leaving and only 3 joining.

Albert Square will be a ghost town. The Queen Vic's trade will suffer and surely when the Ferreira's go there will be no-one left to visit Angies Den and that will close, along with the Cafe and 1/2 the market

Wow - do the scriptwriters not consider the repercussions? Or am I just sad for thinking about it too deeply....... I'll get me coat

Chris Parker - Spencer Moon is leaving EastEnders!
in January 2005

I've heard also that there are new females coming into the show!

Sarah Manners (Bex in Casualty)

Warren, I think you could be right about CP attempting Suicide because he had been sacked and not because he was upset over rumours relating to his sexuality.

Looks like Chris was indeed axed from the show. Nigel Harman is taking a few months off early next year but will return in the spring.

Doesnt look to me that he was axed - the bbc press office made it sound like it was a mutual decision taken by both parties - as in he cant hack it and they don't want a new face in for that character...

Well, there was a tidbit on hearing of his suicide attempt that he was informed of his forthcoming departure on the THusday evening before the incident.

The words "mutual consent" in a press release always should make one suspicious. Any way, I suppose we'll never know the true story for sure.

One of the reasons given by the producers for EastEnders going downhill was the fact that actors were taking time off for one reason or another and leaving etc....let's hope that wielding the axe at this stage does the trick and doesn't make the soap seem even more ridiculous!!

wasn't Dirty Den's and Lynnes contracts finished by mutual consent?

I really hope Sarah Manners takes the offer and does join. This time next year EE will be a different soap but for the better

its only a rumour, nothing has been confirmed!

but they do need more decent actors to join, while they kill off the ones that can't act!

True. The Mirror has already hailed Jake and Danny Moon and we have not seen them yet.

I think it's almost Certain now that Letitia will not be returning to the show, Do you think they'll be inclined to confirm this before or after the New Year ??

On another note - I'm glad that so many of the 'teens' are leaving in the next few months.

I think they always knew she would not go back abit like Steve Mcfadden.

On the subject of the teens it is a wise move from Kathleen she must know what the fans really want.

Well, if Sarah Manners arrives, Linda Henry arrives and the actress who plays Jane stays, then there should certainly be an increase in talent.

agreed Warren!

EE needs more acting talent, and less teenage 'totty' (term used in the most general of senses!)

Please no, not Sarah Manners!

What is it with EE and the cast (present, past) of Holby City and Casualty? They either start in the hospital dramas and then come into EE or the other way around.

The Bill is another one that keeps doing that

He claims to be but was one of my dads best mates when they were kids and he's 63 or 64. My dads 62, and Billy was a year above him at school

Honest

What about Peggy? Is she going to work a normal working day like the others or leave?

I can't say I miss her at all. I always thought the original Peggy looked more like a Mitchell mum than Babs did.
