Official Wii U box art unveiled?

No direct confirmation, but a lot of different places are showing boxes with the same logo. It looks like the GameCube logo but blue and yellow.

It's a lot different to what I was expecting, but at least no one can mistake these for Wii games.

I'm really liking it. I like the blue case and the similar design to the Gamecube, liking the yellow as well. And I agree it's good that it's not similar to the Wii cases; it's a good balance, casual gamers/parents will be able to differentiate between the Wii and WiiU games and the more hardcore fans can appreciate the nod to the GameCube.

Nintendo has confirmed the art as real.

Soon very soon promotion packs have been sent out to stores just recently, I could see price in the coming weeks, early September at the latest.

Someone did a rush mock up of it using the red from the 25th Anniversary Bundle of Mario instead and I have to say, I kinda prefer this one:

That does look even nicer, the yellow bit seems pointless though.

I love the new Wii U design. It's a deffo nod to the Gamecube, and helps to differentiate itself from the Wii, it seems more drastic, compared to the difference between the DS and 3DS.

OMG, a Blue Amaray case would be so cool. Having a stack of them next to the Wii U console would be epic! I'm getting very excited for the Wii U now. I think Miiverse is the thing I'm looking forward to most (as well as the games)
