Im worried that she wont stop making music and having three singles on the radio at the same time. i wsh she would take a break for a while and actually write her own music so it can stop cranking out like something from a shoe factory in a third world country. her songs are so generic and lack substance. people see 7 albums in 7 years as ambitious, but i see it as half assed material and little work on her part except for vocals that have been digitally modified. she is like the drake of the pop world. most of her songs are about the same thing, especially recently. and the autotune is way overdone, but then again that might be a good thing because she can barely hold a note.

I don't think the problem is that she releases albums so regularly because plenty of singers do it (from what I understand, it wasn't uncommon for singers to release an album every 6 months back in the 70's ).

The problem for me is that nobody close to her seems to really want to address that fact thet she's been struggling with the limelight ever since THAT incident in 2009. Nobody seems to have her best interests at hear IMO.

I never understand why people keep saying "she really needs to take a break" I'm sorry but she doesn't write hardly any of her material, she goes into a studio, records the songs and leaves. Then she does promo for the single and album, which isn't like a bloody 9 - 5 job or people who work 12 hour days everyday, she has like a couple of interviews that day and a performance and then gets to go back to a really posh hotel and RELAX.

On one hand, okay she uses planes quite a lot and is always in a different country but she can easily sleep on a plane and sleep in the hotel, she's living in luxury so I'm sure she's absolutely fine!

Just so annoying when people on other forums say she's working herself too hard! No she bloody isn't, the people who work like 60+ hours a week and living by their means, that's working themselves too hard as they don't have a million pound mansion to go back to after work!

The way I understood it, is people saw Lady GaGa working her ass off for the whole of 2009-2011 during the 'The Fame Monster'-'Born This Way' album promotion and tours, and realised and appreciated that she was working hard to remain consistently overexposed (with the aid of the media). Now she IS a hard-worker, and so merited the cause for concern from fans and critics alike, who were getting increasingly worried for her health when she started feeling light-headed and ended up sitting down during a performance of 'Bad Romance' somewhere or other, to request that she "take a break", because she actually needed it.

Point is, GaGa was everywhere during that time, and now Rihanna is everywhere, so people may just have a slightly askew view of the difference between "hard-working" and "overexposure". Lady GaGa was both, meaning that now Rihanna is overexposed, people assume she's working hard for it, hence the requests for her to "take a break". Actually, she does relatively little compared to GaGa, not that I want to see much more of either.
