Joss Whedon new Marvel TV show

i decided to post here because i think it'll get a larger reaction than in the TV forums

what do you think it'll be?
I'd guess one of Runaways, Shield or Avengers Academy.

Runaways because he is a fan of the series and wrote some issues in the 2nd volume,

Shield to include C-list characters like Cloak and Dagger into the MCU without having to create a film for them.

Avengers Academy just because its really up his street IMO

ABC still have a Hulk TV series in the works. Think they needed a new writer on the project, though...

They also had a Jessica Jones series in development but it stalled...

as long as he doesn't cast Summer Glau in it. I like her but whatever she's in doesn't last more than 2 seasons.

We need more Damage Control in TV or comic form it was an excellent series. I remember Crusher Creel waiting in the lost property room to get his wrecking ball back.

I love Summer, it's a real shame the luck she's had when cast as a regular character in a show. I hope she does guest star at least tho.

Either way Joss Whedon back on tv and directing the Avengers 2 is excellent news

So you'd be fine with Joss casting her as an irregular character then.

Methinks the only curse she's suffering from is the curse of people insisting she has a curse.

I guess for a Shield series, the idea would be to mix crime/procedural drama with elements of sci-fi, a bit like Fringe.

The trick will be doing it in a way that feels like it's set in the Marvel Universe, but doesn't alienate casual non-comic readers. If it was anyone other than Joss Whedon, I'd say that would be tough to do but after his success on Avengers I think he'll pull it off just right.
