I've not heard anything about Coach Trip in ages, is it coming back?

The only clue I can find is it says Series 9 TBC 2012 on the Wiki page; they are probably filming it now. I'm looking forward to another series I must admit

Apparently filming has been delayed because Brendan has been doing panto, but should be back in the Autumn! I miss it too!

It all went a bit downhill when they introduced Z list "celebrities". Hopefully they'll return to the original format with Jeremy Kyle-esque participants who've never been abroad and never eaten fish with their heads on before.

As the series have went on, I've enjoyed it more and more, the celebrities spin-off is not as good but it's great to hear a new series is on the way.

I was reading on the Coach Trip thread in the reality section that someone was going to apply during the last series and was told that filming was going to start in September. Hope thats true

Hopefully that is the case, as I still love this show. I really do miss a character like Brendan Sheerin on our tv screens!!

Well I live on the Costa del Sol and about a month ago I saw Brendan on the street in Fuengirola I didnt approach him, wished I had though as I miss Coach trip also, I could of asked him when its back on.

If there was a show that needed cancelling it wasn't Coach Trip, it was CDWM

I looked at the 12 yard website earlier today and on the coach trip page it had a link to the 'take part' section of the c4 website. However, when I clicked the link Coach Trip wasn't listed among the programmes looking for contestants. I wonder what is going on...

If it has been axed, I'd be sad as I loved the first few series, but at the same time I think its demise would be down to c4 killing the show by doing two series a year plus celebrity specials

You do get the odd middle class mother and daughter couple who end up crying like fat girls on the stairs at parties and then voted out at the first opportunity. Middle class daughter will then go on about them being "ganged up against".

I hear what you're saying...and I do remember some couples that fit those descriptions.

There ARE other, normal people on there, but I think they tend to get forgotten because they're not "out there" enough (i.e. loud, confrontational etc. etc.).

Unfortunately CT has not been re-commissioned so it looks like no CT at all.

If there was to be a Christmas Coach Trip, wouldnt it have to start on the 3 December, so it could be over on the 21nd December, cause wasnt last years a 3 week trip.

Unless it began on the 10th. and went on for 3 weeks.and finished on the 28th.
