I wouldn't want her back full time but it would be good to see her square up against Sharon and siding with Shirley

Why didn't she attend her best friends funeral?

Was annoyed about that. Bryan Kirkwood said he didn't bring back Peggy because he feared she would overshadow Pat's exit. Also he said there need to be a specific storyline for returning characters. He said that in an interview from Inside Soap in December 2011.
When it comes to EastEnders, I don't think he has the ability to be objective about anything and therefore shouldn't have made decisions on a hunch, he should have listened to his audience. |

Like his decision to sack Devon Anderson who played Billie Jackson... looked very unbiased as he had already sacked him once before but this time making sure he was dead with a rushed story line.
Despite losing... Richard Branning Bradley Branning and the exit of Jim Branning |

I think it was the writers who came up with that story not brian kirkwood. They would have killed him off with or without kirkwood. Lyndsey coulson was upset by the decision.

If he had an issue with actors, he'd make sure they paid. The character of Heather Trott was killed off because BK fell out with Cheryl Fergison.

Brian kirkwood didn't have that kind of power to go killing off characters! The producer makes decisions based on his or hers writing team. Executive producers make judgements on what the writers come up with. The have to consult with other people.

So it takes years to coax her back to Eastenders and when she finally decides to come back they upset her by killing off her on screen soon!..Way to go... |

The same way he wanted Billie Jackson killed off because of the issues they had whilst at Hollyoaks. |

Yes he did! He would have told the writers he wanted to kill her off and they would have come up with the storyline.

It would be realistic if we saw Peggy after Ben's exit

I wasn't saying that Cheryl Fergison held a grudge against Birkwood, rather he killed her off because they fell.

oh i just thought it was for the storyline. heather was a close friend to the family so it made sense
Case 1: fans want Ronnie & Jack to have their kid and Ronnie to be happy. Birkwood messes that up Case 2: Heather and Andrew to live "happily ever after". Birkwood's decision? You know... |

It can't be a coincidence that Cheryl wanted her contract changed and the next thing you know, Heather's being killed off. Birkwood goes out of his way to not only make people suffer (Devon what's-his-face had problems with Birkwood at Hollyoaks; he returns to EE and when Captain Birkwood becomes EP, Billie's killed off) and to do the EXACT OPPOSITE of what fans want.

You know... also i think now why ben had the duff duff at the end of phil & shirleys non wedding. he's about to be the reason why they split so that also makes sense lol |
