I thought that was quality tonight, this whole thing with Paul and Rodney came back up out of nowhere but it was really good.

The Blackstocks along with Paul and Val are by far my favourite family in any soap right now, by a mile.

Pleased to see Chloe ruining Katie's work too, making her even more of a cow I presume all this will come out near her exit...

- Very simple, but appealing episode tonight - Only featured the Kings, Rodney's lot and Zoe.
- Chloe = Uber Bitch, I really hope some one takes her on - be it Sadie, Chas or Charity.

- Rodder’s homophobic attitude rears it’s ugly head again, it’s a very good issue to explore and even though he is trying to accept Paul, it just isn’t happening.

Loved tonights Emmerdale, the dinner at Rodney's was excellent

I loved that line that Paul came out with when Rodney said he did not want a pair of promiscious faggots staying under his room.... Paul said to him... ' Dont you dare call me permiscious'... It was so funny.

I love Paul, and yeah that line was class. It's a good storyline the whole homophobia thing, especially when it's from a dad to his son...

I can't understand why Sadie is so scared of splitting up with Jimmy. She is a director of the company . They are supposed to have a bit put away and if they divorced I feel sure that she would have quite a bumper pay off.

But then she wouldn't be part of the family. I expect she loves being Tom Kings daughter almost as much as the money.

You're right. Sadie may love the money but she loves being a King. One without the other wouldn't be the same. Remember she's good friends with Colleen, and has no doubt seen how she's been shunted out since her and Carl split.

Of course, that doesn't actually tally with Charity's comment about Tom always backing his son's wives does it?

I saw a Bo Selecta book in HMV at lunch time and in it there is a Hello type spread of Patsy and Mel B at home... in the interview Mel B says how much she loves Pats in Emmerdale and that every time she sees her on it she has to put the kids out of the room..... cos Mel takes out her cucumber and does things with it..... LOL..

My mam mentioned that they made a point about Chloe not knowing how to spell a certain word in the poison pen letters, and she's sure this will come up again eventually. I must have missed this bit.

She spelt 'Waste' as 'Waist'. Chas pointed it out, saying that not only was 'Colleen' a pyscho she was thick as well.

Interesting that Carl's just been put in charge of the 'Waste' division...

I love the way they're revealing Rodney's homophobia - in that it is entirely 'real', just how you might expect Rodney to react, and Emmerdale are really engaging with the issue.

Paul is a bit of a dud actor, but my partner reckons he's only there as totty... can't see it myself, but there must BE a reason and it can't be his acting .

They are dealing with Diane's cancer so well too - when you compare how EE have just 'forgotten' about Dot's, Diane's has been dealt with realistically and sensitively.

I cant wait for Chloe to get whats coming to her.. She is so devious.. I really hope they do a whodunnit with her character when she leaves

I hope she's found out soon. Can't stand her. I hope it's Carl who finds her out. That way we won't have weeks of Chas trying to persuade him it's her and him calling her jealous and a psycho, although I can see that happening.

In fact, I wish Chas had gotten with Sid. They would have made a lovely couple.
