The Nexus 7 is guaranteed to be updated beyond Android K(ey Lime Pie) so I would go for that personally despite it not having the SD card slot the Samsung does, but personally I don't find it that much of a drawback having one myself.

I have each of them and both are great devices.
Nexus 7 has the better screen, Jellybean, and will get updates as soon as they are available. Galaxy Tab (in the UK) has TouchWiz, memory expansion slot, Ice Cream and if you have other Samsung products it will interact with them (TV, Galaxy SIII). Note the UK version of Tab2 7 lacks Infra Red h/w. |

The Nexus 7 is a great piece of kit - VERY fast and will be supported for several years.

Great price! It comes down to sacrificing the Nexus's quad core to gain an SD port on the Samsung. If only the Nexus came with an SD port!!
![]() I went with the Nexus. I love it. |

Any chance you can use a 3g dongle on one of these?

Had the Nexus 7 just over 2 weeks now and I'm loving it. Havet got the Last FM app on it as well as the Pure Lounge app and beejiveLM messenger app as the messenger for you app seems to crash a lot. Angry Birds works very well on the Nexus 7. Have had no problems with it so far. For WiFi and web browsing its far better then my HTC Desire S.

Do you have a Scots accent? The Google voice search gives me some hilarious results unless I speak 'posh' or put on an English accent! Temple Run runs really smoothly on it and then I saw Dead Trigger and was very impressed.
