EE Tonight (30.11.04)
What is wrong with Jane's husband?
Also the new Lucy Beale I though was very promising, I know its a cliche' but she seemed to light up the screen. |

I agree with you about the new Lucy she looks like she is going to be very good also loved the Pat and Mo stuff even Shannis and the Farreira's were ok. In tonights EE I noticed a change. |

This Zoe/ Sharon/ Dennis storyline is very boring, can't believe Berridge brought it back. Every episode it's the same thing.... over & over
Zoe "Sharon you ain't gonna get him, he's mine" Sharon "You're wrong" Zoe "Sharon you ain't gonna get him, he's mine" Sharon "You're wrong" Zoe "Sharon you ain't gonna get him, he's mine" Sharon "You're wrong" Really enjoying Ian/ Jane/ Kids relationship, they could be onto something here! Jane reminds me so much of Yvone Atkins from Bad Girls look wise. |

I really liked EastEnders tonight, I've noticed a difference in the episodes lately. Theres nothing drastic but theres a different feeling to them. Zoe/Sharon/Dennis will continue til Xmas so I'm not going to bother saying how bored we all are of them. Zoe is such a plank really lol
The Ian and Jane relationship is really cool, with some more good writing they could become soaps big couple. And there was come classic bitching tonight between Mo and Pat, it was actually quite funny. Did anyone else think Stacey driving the milk float home was hilarious? I'm really liking Stacey. |

The new actress playing Lucy does seem quite promising from what we saw today.
I just wanted to slap Zoe when she went and told Den about Sharon and Dennis !

I like the new Lucy, she's a lot better then the other one, even though her heads got smaller.
Peter gone from light blonde to brown... hmmmm. |

I think the people noticing changes in EastEnders are simply imagining it because they know KH has arrived. It's a little bit like the placebo affect. Far too much Shannis for my liking.

Last night's Easties wasnt too bad, if only they'd left out the stupid bits about Spencer interviewing for the chippy, and the crap Ferreiras and their windfall £22,000.

Why did they change Peter and Lucy anyway? Eastenders doesn't seem very EE like right now, it's really different (and weird).

Do you think that they are copying the same scene and using it over and over to save money?

Get rid of Stacey I say!!! This storyline has been done to death. And who in their right mind would put up with her behaviour and foul mouth. I know its only a soap, but her character has put us off watching EE. Not that we needed much of an excuse at the moment, with the Dirty Den saga and Zoe/Dennis/sharron stuff.

To last and be realistic they will need to have problems to deal with (if the spoiler about Stephen when he comes back from New Zealand is true then this would be a great struggle for them as a couple to deal with) but please for once EE let a couple stay together. Even IF you MUST have one of them having an affair let it be dealt with as Pauline and Arthur's affair story line was. That the deal with it and move on but still together. Am I the only one that wants a couple in EE to actually stay together?

Then fair enough he did tell that huge lie to Mel, then he married Gollum (Laura) which was punishment enough for the lie to Mel. We all know what happened there. Ian has started to grow on me a little now since he has been with Jane. Really hope he can countinue in their vein and they become a long standing EE couple.

I've always loved Ian, because Adam W is so good at switching between Mean Ian and Nice Ian, which makes him such a rounded and believable character. You could always tell there was a nice guy under there just waiting to get out
. I think he and Jane will be a great couple - as long as they don't do what they did with characters like Lisa and Laura - change her from a sensible strong human being into a whimpering mess. I agree, I'd love to see Ian and Jane as the new 'Arthur and Pauline' - Adam W is obviously in it for the long haul and as a couple they would provide great stability and interest for the show. |

Last night's EE well apart from the Jane and Ian scenes it was dire...
Shannis was the usual bore...I mean can't they just put this sotry to death, but I'm glad Zoe told Dennis Sr in the end. Stacey - Do anything to get rid of her, kill her, maim her, bring her family or ship to her Belinda's..she is annoying. Why can't Mo smack her one? As for the Spencer and the Ferrira's...well its sums up why they are being axed. Rubbish. |

They would make a good centre of focus for the show. Like Deidre and Ken on COrrie. |

I could not agree more the scenes with Lucy and Jane were very believable Lucy being a young girl without a mum and Jane being there to help her grow up, lets hope this keeps going. |
