Yeah it is haha, I was gonna say I wondered why it'd been pushed back by a week! Although the US gets in on August 21st lol.

I didn't really like Ellie's first album, but the latest 2 songs I've heard are really good

Very poor for Ellie's standards. I like the verses but that chorus does my head in. I hope Halcyon won't disappoint after the flawless album which was Lights.

I think it'll grow on me. The album's been ordered though - should be good judging by the preview.

Completely underwhelmed. So disappointed I was hoping for a song along the lines of "Lights" or "Little Dreams". Something with a bit more to it.

This sounds like a bonus track, hopefully Halcyon has more to offer.

Yeah but it's 'official' UK release date it Sept 30th. I knew it was available digitally in the US on August 21st coz they're still obsessed with On Air on Sale haha.

So does that mean the physical release will be September 30th here and it'll be released digitally on August 21st, or it won't be available at all until Sept 30th?

no no it's released in the US on August 21st, then here on Sept 30th

I know it's a bit daft, especially with her being a UK artist, but it's just how US sales/radio works.

I'm not sure about this... it's massively over-produced but yet underneath it is the same plinky piano song that every single female singer-songwriter is doing and trying to be 'cool'. It's not as good as anything from her first album. The song 'Lights' was so much better.

I hate to say it, but it's a bit underwhelming. I loved Ellie the first time round, but she's been away for a while and this doesn't have the impact of a big comeback single. I know she's a bit alternative and it may be it's a grower, but is that what she needs right now, career-wise?

Eekkk. I really don't like it. The production is far too OTT.

It's alright but I preferred Starry Eyed, Lights and Under The Sheets.

Not sure what to make of it. It sounds like a real hot mess and neither her voice or the beat are nice to listen to. But at least she's not coming back with Lights-II! I'll have to wait and see...

I like it. But... this would have worked better as an indie rock track along similar lines to The Naked and Famous.
