How to answer external call when on an intercom call?
Hello I was wondering if anyone can help as I have two technical questions in relation to the Binatone Lifestle 1910 phone.
We have 3 Binatone lifestyle 1910 phones all registered.

My question is when conducting an intercom conversation ie talking from one binatone to another binatone phone in the same house and an external call comes through which shows up on our caller display, how does one of the two people who are having the intercom conversation pick up that external call? I tried to hang up the intercom call but it simply cut off the external call aswell as the intercom call. The next time this happened I pressed the "R" button on the phone but the external call then started to ring on the 3rd binatone phone we have and the external call was able to be picked up on that 3rd phone. However, how do we actually answer the external incoming call while on an intercom call using one of the phones we are having the intercom conversation on? Or is there a way to end the intercom call and answer the incoming external call without cutting off the external call?
Also my Binatone phone, when fully charged only lasts 1 hour when talking on it using speaker phone. Is this normal?
|

Repeat this with the 1st registered phone if there is still no change. If you can figure out if there is a problem when 3 handsets are registered or if all the pairs of handsets perform the same, then call the helpline 0845 345 9677. At least you have a symptom to reproduce. If they have no answers, return them. Regards the battery life, try replacement NiMH rechargeable cells. It looks as though they are AAA. Try a long charge (manual recommends 16 hours) first before using the speakerphone continually. |

Thanks for your reply. I have charged it for 16 hours using the batteries they have supplied and I only get about an hour speaking on the speaker phone. I called Binatone and they said that is normal for using the speaker phone. I just wasn't too sure that was all. But are you saying to get a different type of batteries which will give me a longer battery life for using the phone on speaker phone?
