I currently have a O2 Standard pay as you go tariff and I wanted to change to an Online tariff (the one with 300 free texts per month). Is there any way I can do this without changing my SIM card and/or number and losing my credit

yeh you can... call o2 customer service and ask for a SPID change...they will change the SPID number from normal P&G to Online P&G it will cost you £9.99....which they will take from your credit or you can pay by Card ......you can keep the same number and also your credit

After you changed to Online tarriff , make sure you top up a minimum of £10 a month or you will lose the 300 texts.
