I used to love Dynasty and Colbys. Agree that Emmerdale could do with an update. That woman with a man's hairdo dishing out a slap! Gets me every time! There would be uproar and street protests if EE or Corrie were changed, and I like the images of the back streets. (Agree that a lot of whizz-bang technology must have been used).

Best ever? From the best ever soap, of course, Eldorado! The music was a bit too spangly, but the image of a sunrise over the sea (or sunset over the sea for the closing titles) is lovely and cheering. I often wonder about the circle with an "E" in it as the Rado logo, though. A definite whiff of early-90s recreational drug use ...

Baywatch according to the guys - can't imagine why

it has to be EE when i hear the do do do do do.... i get all excited , i also think the way they bring the beat in at the end of each episode is priceless!!!!!

Corrie's is ok a bit dated but not terrible.

I used to really like the 'Knots Landing' theme tune when I was young, My Mum always watched it...and I used to stay for the song at the begining and then leave the room......Can anyone remember how it goes? I know it was quite good...

I think my favourites were
a) Take the Highroad..because it was well done with a really good theme
b) Shortland Street...because it was so naff it was excellent
