If you haven't already use Shopto.net. I have never had a game go missing nor not arrive at latest a day before official release. The longest I have had to wait from dispatch of any order was two days. I have ordered close to 100 items in last 18 months!

Picked mine up at Sainsburys this morning, thought I'd use some of my Nectar points up, surprisingly it cost nothing and I have points left!
Just 7 hours of work and a couple of hours until the kids go to bed after that until I can return to Pandora. |

Heh, I preordered two copies for me an' my Bro from Amazon on PS3 so we can do co-op, but mine didn't get posted till about half six yesterday and as expected wasn't in the post. So I downloaded it from Steam on my lappy.
It duly installed got to the opening of the game and then said "Installing Updates". Forty five minutes later it was still saying the same thing. I quit out of it, reset it be in a window, got back to the same place in the startup and low and behold it had been Zone Alarm waiting for a "yes" / "no" all that time. It's annoying as I'd already given the Borderlands install prog permission to talk to the outside world, but I guess ZA decided Borderlands 2 Install and Borderlands 2 the game are two different things. Having said yes again to ZA it updated within two seconds (actually only wanted to check to see if I had an original Borderlands on the lappy and if so award me with a new optional head skin for my player). After that it was off and running. Everything's prettier, everything's more of the same but more, if you know what I mean. The menus are swisher but less easy to read quickly as they're more in medium shot as you can see the player looking at them now. Up to level 4 so far and LOVING IT! Regards Mark |

Took the dog for a 45 min walk and when I came back there must have been a special delivery as there was the PS3 copy sitting on the doorstep. Now I can play it on two platforms.

Had a quick 30min bash at lunchtime. It really is just a slightly jazzed up version of the first game - but there's nowt wrong with that.
Menus will take a bit of getting used to, but then they weren't exactly user friendly at first in Borderlands, and at least it highlights which ammo type a gun uses now. First boss mini boss battle comes along quite quick, only just survived with 3 second wind chances. Can't wait to get really stuck in. |

Plus WoW is multi player but I can play Borderlands 2 alone and still have full effect of the game in a years time. There isn't really much of a choice for me between the 2 really, if I want to play both then it has to be WoW first. |

I dont want to play it alone, it's not as fun and as a mate of mine found out when he bought Gear 3 late no one wanted to play co op with him .

I would disagree maybe its because I never play online but playing Borderlands 1 singleplayer for me was great. Probably because its more of a challenge on you're own.

Yup, while I enjoy playing co-op with my Bro (wouldn't even consider playing with strangers, have no interest in that whatsoever), it's really playing single player where the most enjoyment comes. And I mean several orders better. Co-op's fun, but single player's the real deal.
Same goes for all games, in fact, not just BL2. Regards Mark |

I had two games on Borderlands 1. I had a single player game and a game that my friends and I played together and i never mixed the two. That way we always stayed around the same level and we progressed though the whole game together.
Probably going to do the same with this one. |
