I really think she is. She has some really great material, and especially Disaster/The Other Chick, a perfect voice.

I would go as far to say that she is the voice of her generation, obviously some will disagree but I'm curious as to what people think of JoJo.

Yes, but her label ensured that.

Not quite up there as the most underrated, but her label have royally ****ed her over too many times I'll agree!

She's not underrated at all. I'd say she's a wasted talent. She had the potential to be huge and unfortunately she didn't deliver. I'd agree that her label is partly at fault but her material has also failed her after the 1st album.

I love JoJo. I remember having Keep Forgetting on repeat for days after I first heard it. I really like most of her songs.

I love her vocals and she's definitely more talented than most artists on the charts right now. I hope 'Demonstrate' does incredibly well for her in the US, the song deserves it. I would go as far as saying that it's the best song she's ever recorded and she wrote it by herself too if I'm not mistaken.

Too bad she's signed to a horrible level. I hope that doesn't hold her back anymore.

I think she's a talented singer but "voice of a generation" is a bit much imo. I do like her though

The problem is that she could be the voice of a generation. She's a classic power-house styled vocalist, but her label are ****ing atrocious.

She got Fred Savaged aka Frankie Muniz'd. She got older, stopped being cute and lost a lot of support from people that could have marketed her and kept her successful.

I completely agree! I've always said that had her record company handled her correctly she could have quite easily followed in the footsteps of Christina Aguilera & become the 'voice of the next generation'. She is a whole decade younger than Christina after all!
Anyway Disaster was immense, it fit right in with songs like Leave (Get Out) & Too Little Too Late but still sounded fresh. Could have easily been a hit here!

When I first saw Demi Lovato in her video for "Give Your Heart A Break", I thought it was JoJo's comeback!
