Sexy. Did you make the apple stuff yourself? I did apple pie cupcakes a couple of years ago, I put ready made apple sauce in the middle. Really tasty.

Oh yum, they look delicious! What's the recipe for those?

I haven't baked for a long time, stupid eating disorder has taken away the enjoyment. But I feel this should change, so I will hopefully have something to post pictures of soon.

Hi Smithy.
I hope you conquer your eating disorder.
I got the recipe from The Daily Express paper a couple of weeks ago.
It's dead easy.
Just 100g butter
100g Caster Sugar
2 tablespoons of honey
1 egg
2 tablespoons of ground Cinnamon
100g wholemeal flour
2 tablespoons of baking powder
160g porridge oats
100g raisins

Hi Andy,
Can I have a tried/tested recipe for a simple Vanilla Cake please? I only have an 8 inch pan so the batter amount should just be enough for 1 pan. Thank you!

Hi Scorpio.
The recipe I use for all my cakes is as follows :
240g Caster sugar
240g Butter
240g Self Raising flour
4 eggs
A splash of vanilla

If I need to add anything else eg cocoa to make a chocolate cake, I just add it to taste

I've never made a cake before. Might give it a go. I've recently dabbled in those ready to go cupcake mixes and made an apple crumble.

Try it,I know the packet mixes are OK for a quick bake, but haven't got the taste of homemade, apple crumble is my favourite afters, with a big dollop of clotted cream
