Not really, Moonlily. I don't know if I'm good enough to be honest.

Thanks! The customer specified 'purple and pretty' as her requirements, and left the rest to me.

I'm making another birthday set for this weekend, with the specification: 'rainbow'.

Andy I meant to ask you ages ago, which cutters do you use for your fondant lettering? I bought some clickIt-type ones from the Cake International fair a couple of years ago but they're crap, the letters stretch and distort as I pull them out

Hi Victoria
I got them from Ebay a while ago. They are the only letter cutters I have, that's why all my cakes have the same letters on them !

Same here. My mum made a beautiful Beatrix Potter themed cake for my daughters first birthday last weekend!

Darling girl asked for rainbow, so I gave her rainbow. I totally haven't been in the right frame of mind of late to do projects, but I'm glad I did. Birthday girl was very happy.

Thanks. I made a total mess of my kitchen, mixing up so many different colours!
Thanks for the heads up re: the lettering. Yours always look on-point. I need to invest.

Thanks.
I wanted the drips thinner than that but my ganache was too thick. I'll get it right next time though I think. It tasted great though and the recipient (my friend, I made it as a surprise gift for her) loved it.
