These are my Christmas Cupcakes from last year

Sticky toffee with a cinnamon butter cream on the left

Black Forest Cupcakes in the middle - Chocolate Cupcakes with a Kirsch soaked cherry in the centre with a Vanilla Whipped Cream frosting

Candy Cane Cupcakes on the right - Red Velvet cupcake with a peppermint frosting

http://www2.picturepush.com/photo/a/...0/10389800.jpg
They look great, Andy.
How did you do the frosting on the centre ones - The Black Forest cupcakes ?

Thanks

I just whipped cream and instead of adding regular icing sugar I used a vanilla bean dusting sugar, essentially the same as icing sugar which meant I could get the vanilla flavour without colouring the cream or diluting it with essence etc, theres a link to it below on Waitrose website but I picked mine up in an independent shop

A basic (but quite tasty) sponge cake I made this evening.

Sponge contains coffee, and the thin layer of buttercream on top contains white chocolate with also some grated white chocolate sprinkles on top of that.

Very nice Andy. I've just started using fondant too. Will post some pics soon.

Yes! Many are still enjoying the wonders of caking! I'm trying to find a chocolate and rasberry cake to make for Christmas at the mo.
