I'm not sure as I didn't follow her but I imagine her neck was mentioned. People seem obsessed with it.

I don't get what enjoyment the vile human beings that do this sort of thing actually get out of abusing people that have done nothing wrong. She seems like a lovely woman.

Why? I'm guessing that you're very young otherwise why would you be so judgemental? Do you think Twitter is only for the under 30's? Have a good look around and you'll see Twitter users of all ages and from all walks of life. Over 50 doesn't mean senility you know.

I'm just saying that I didn't expect her to use it

There's no need to get so defensive and Twitter is mainly used between 16-31 year olds, yes I know that doesn't mean that they are the only age group to use it but I'm just expressing my opinion!

All the Corrie cast say she's a lovely woman - and she comes across as so. I hate Twitter with a passion, I hope the bile spewed out comes back to them somehow.

Yeah she does come across very well and has a nice presence about her, but come on she's not being judged for being a TV personality, she's being judged as an actress which is quite right. Her acting on Friday was very wooden.

In fairness, they're hardly likely to say "No I think she's a total cow" are they?

Anthony Cotton doesn't strike me as a person who would cover up or hold back from his opinion, even if it's about a colleague on the show.

I think you will find that you are wrong about the demographic on twitter, I personally have a twitter account but I have seen the nastiness on there, so choose not to use it these days, neither of my children in the age group you mention have an account, likewise with Facebook I had an account before either of them

They're not talking about her acting...they're talking about parts of her appearance...

I agree. It's a completely selfless act for actors to sign up to Twitter and allow fans to converse with them. 10 years ago the thought of being able to ask questions and joke with your favourite actors was unthinkable. Yet you have mindless morons ruining the whole experience for everyone.

The problem with blocking people I guess is that she still has to read through all of the messages to find the abusers. Imagine opening up your Twitter account each day and having to read through that sort of thing.

Don't pull the innocent act. You were laughing at the idea of her being on Twitter because of her age. Very immature and unnecessary.
