Sorry, but you sound like a neurotic weirdo, no wonder she's distancing herself!

Move on. And next time you get the opportunity to snoop in someone's private business, try and restrain yourself. Or at least don't get caught, it's a very unattractive quality.

Fair enough, it obviously souns as though the OP doesn't have the emotional maturity to deal with being on a dating website just yet though

It doesn't sound complicated at all. You want a full on relationship, she doesn't. You came on strong to the point of creepy, she was more or less honest with you (I believe a lot of people use online dating in a similar way and like to keep their options open whilst things are still casual).

Here's the tough love advice: when you are in a real relationship, you will realise how silly this Romeo and Juliet flash in the pan romance was. 'Love' can be found very quickly, but real love takes longer. I was head over heels with my OH in the first few months we were together and would sob myself silly if we had to be apart for a week. What we had then is NOTHING to what we have now five years down the line.

Why would she willingly give you the password to her accounts?

You just need to tell her you want uncomplicated animalistic sex. Simple.

Im really really glad there was no internet (well it was v basic) when I was a pubesent teen! I would have been a paranoid wreck, more so then now! K remember my boyfriends mate wrestling me to the floor while my bf read my diary. But it was all a boring crap and I was hilarious. Dear oh dear hacking into*match.com after one date. Forget her please for both your sakes!

Remember when Digital Spy Advice forum used to be filled with people looking genuine advice? Now we've got 3 or 4 threads on the main page which would be more suited to Jackanory!

Basically about a month ago i joined an online dating site hoping to find a way to help me get over my ex, and to cut a long story short, i met this girl on there who lives in london, and we've literally been having these long conversations every night on fb or skype every month for weeks now. There was an instant connection between us and we got on so well. On thursday i actually travelled all the way to london to meet her and it was honestly one of the best days of my life. Spending the day with her just felt so magical (and in case you're wondering, we didn't have sex while we were there, we made out and that was it).

So i left london feeling like she was the one. but basically while we were in london she told me that she has the same password for all her online stuff, and then said what the password was, so when i got back i was really intrigued and i logged into her account, where i saw all these inboxes from these other boys and they were all talking about meeting up for sex and it has broken my heart she told me she wasnt seeing anybody so i actually felt like i'd found the right person finally. the following day i told her how i felt and she said to me that she appareciates that and that she would like me too if she'd met me at a different point at her life but said that she wants to concentrate on studying/a-levels for the time being. which i was fine with, but its the fact that she's been having sex with all these people and its made me feel so down.

Shes also told me that she doesn't want a committed relationship until she's at least 30 and when she's losing her looks, and until then she just wants a bit of fun while she's still young, and nothing serious.

Thing is, ever since I told her I had feelings for her, she's been a little bit distant towards me, e.g her answers are always shorter and she hasnt been making an effort like she usually does. do you reckon this has something to do with the fact she knows i like her, or am i just being a bit paranoid there?

To sum all this up, I really really really like this girl, I can't stop thinking about her, she's always on my mind now but I really don't know what to do about it now....

Please help? This is killing me....my heart feels like its going to burst.... What should I do about this?
Get out now mate before you get hurt. Trust me, i've just spent a year in and out of a relationship with a headfcuk like her who wants a relationship one week, then to shag around the next. I'm devastated at the moment. Embarrassed to say I have been dumped and taken back 4 times.

Maybe it would help if you actually bothered to read the thread? She never told him she wanted a relationship, he assumed that and then, instead of accepting this and moving on, decided to snoop in her private mail. I think she's the one that's had a lucky escape.

Block for speaking the truth? Read the thread, it is no way related to your situation.

I get frustrated when bitter, cynical people offer 'advice' based along the lines of they're all the same, get out now, typical men/women, don't trust them etc because *insert own tragic story here* and the same will happen to you.

I agree. Stick to the topic instead of turning it around to your own experience.
