Anyone know if we are getting a Junior Apprentice this year - and if we are - when does it start?

I'm getting withdrawal symptoms

Thanks

There's definitely a new series of it as they did auditions for it earlier this year. Don't know when it starts though, presumably after summer?

I think it ran October - December last year

Hmm, I'll wait for official confirmation on that one. I seem to remember The Sun printing many false Apprentice stories in the past...

Lord Sugar has confirmed it but claimed it was the BBC, not him, who decided to axe:

Shame if it will be the last one, i enjoyed it. Would loved to have done something like that when i was that age.

Its too much, one series a year is enough. Two series a year and people get bored and turn off.

I preferred it when winners of the regular series got a job, so that it and the Junior Apprentice had their differences.

Hey, I'm reading it and I'm jolly glad there'll be some more spotty herberts in suits that are too big for them for us to laugh at.

Not even sure they pick their own clothes, or are styled?? . They seem to be stuck in whatever they start the first boardroom with for continuity purposes, and some of them don't look like their selves much at all if you judge from photos on twitter.

It did indeed - eight episodes, finishing on December 12th. I'd expect similar this year, which means we should start seeing trails soon with the series starting in the last week or so of this month.

I'll be recapping every episode as I do for both the Junior and Grown-Up series. If anyone's feeling nostalgic, I've attached a link below to my recap of the final (links to other episodes included in the post):

I hope it's not the last one this year - Lord Sugar's comments have made it unclear whether that rumour is completely untrue, or whether the decision has been made but not by him. I think there is hope though, because surely if that decision had been made, he would have stated that explicitly? He said, 'If there are no more series' in the tweet... that suggests the decision hasn't been made yet.

I think it is in danger though, it only gets about half the ratings of the adult series. I prefer the Young version to the adult version.
